I'm not competitive, other Ladies aren't my competition, they are my colleagues. I cheer for them daily and consistently give out references to help them.
I actually just raised my rates and I've been even more selective through the pandemic demanding longer bookings and have have no issues what-so-ever. I haven't taken a single same day apt in over a year I'm pre-screen pre-book only now. I've had a no review policy for over a year which has been great because it but down on random dick emergency "I need to see you now!" Inquiries. I've actually gotten better and better clients and more consistent regulars ontop of my awesome long time ones.

This is how many random calls, voicemails, and incomplete texts I've answered in the last month...0. Just like any other service you introduce yourself with your name, your other required info, when you want thier service, and you make an appointment. My hairstylist is appointment and deposit only. My spa is appointment and deposit only. When I got my lashes done it was appointment and deposit only. My piercer, tattoo artist, chiropractor that comes to my house...all appointment and deposit only.

My original issue is that I can send all the asked for information offer a bunch of real world info in an email. Then either get a response or not.. did I use one of these bad terms that you decided to ghost me over? Do I just keep sending all this info to the next chick that may or may not think I deserve a response? Let’s be real I’m not setting up an appt with a business. Your nail people don’t ask for your work info or care for a picture. Unless you’re a serious real life monger ya gotta try and keep this hobby on the low. So a number other than my day to day phone is what we use.

I guess this is good to know. While I don't simply send a text saying "rates and location" they are the first two questions I ask after introducing myself. Reason is that you can tell a lot about a provider depending on her rates and there are just certain areas I am not going to. So depending on the answer to those questions I am trying to save us both the time.
