Wait what? You mean it's not the guy's responsibility to make sure he goes to the spa at an optimal time (regardless of whether the spa is open at that time)? And you're telling me if he doesn't request an appointment that he should expect a level of service lower than if he were to have an appointment scheduled (even though he is paying money for both situations)?
