i see a suspicious person trespassing on private property in an area that as the video news reports say had recent issues with burglary. who says they didn't call the police? the cops aren't everywhere. takes minutes to get a patrol car there.

did that private property belong to them? No it did not. Therfore after dialing 911 the proper procedure would have been to show the officer the video of the guy and then let the officer deal with it as he saw fit. The man was, not armed, he was jogging away, and he didn't steal anything. You sir are defending murderers.
