There are ways of asking things, that will not evoke emotions of the ladies (with that being the pure intention of certain word choices). like ... did you meet her here? Did she participate in hobby activities? Is this a new relationship? see there are many ways... a good grasp of the english language and proper sentence structure can get you a long way in life.. on the other hand, when larry the cable guy is what you consider to be well educated... It's been brought to my attention that referring to providers using the "h" word, as i've done several times in this thread, is looked upon as demeaning to many, if not all, providers. I suppose i should have realized this, but for various reasons, i didn't.

With that, i'll pretty much concede Docdave's initial point in its entirety. And since my point may have been lost in the choice of rhetoric i decided to use, i'd simply ask that my posts in this thread be read with the "h" word being replaced with "provider(s)".

My apologies to the providers.

Which i think is the point. Like i told Anita, as with the term "polack", and using the "N" word, it's the meaning behind the use of the word that determines whether it might be offensive or not.

And let me be clear, the person who brought it to my attention knows me, at the very least, well enough to know that under normal circumstances i wouldn't use the term in order to be derogatory. In fact, i've used a similar term, as has she, in our conversations about her on more than a few occasions. So i think the lack of clarity in my messages here played a large part in the need to have it brought to my attention.

all of you are being so nice to me i have to reply. i'am 62 been hobbying since 1975 with two different 3 year hiatus from the scene one just the past three years. i stepped away first because of the tens of thousands i have spent on this hobby and another if you want to know pm me. i came back in on limited basis not intending to jump around like i did in my 20's 30's and 40's. i did fine one lady that i have been looking at during my absent. i have seen very lovely ladies pics on this board and escort.com and if was in my prime i would be pursuing all of them. i would personally like to thank lynnt as she trusted me. that is the most important thing to have in life besides tons of money. the provider i don't care to divulge that is my decision. again thanks everyone. there is very interested discussions on this board. i'am from syracuse so every one becareful in this town. i would absolutely stay away from backpage and go out with reputiable providers. just my opionion. stay safe everyone.
