Nope, just way easier to deal with China, 10x cheaper also. Parts came 100% in spec. American companies couldn't be bothered. Had 5 prototypes on my doorstep from China in 1 week. Pretty sad really, but forever on I'll never approach an American machine shop for production. I've had 1000s of parts made in China since then.

uh huh is right. 100x easier to get things made in China. A part that would cost me 160 to make here costs $40ish even after import duties. $160 leaves me 0 (or may not be able to sell any at all) dollars to make where I make $60 a unit on things I import.
