Does Biden deserve the bad optics for this? Absolutely. But lets not pretend that Afghanistan hasn't been a Kobayashi Maru from the word jump. There was never going to be a "good way" to leave.
It’s not “optics”, just ask the people stuck there that fear for their lives. But Biden’s not responsible for this. The ones who installed him are. They control everything that’s going on. Biden’s not even a useful idiot. He can’t follow a teleprompter or read his cheat sheets. That’s why they are hiding him now.

I know many folks who voted for him in 2016 and didn't say they did, even if they voted for him in 2020. I don't ask ... and how I vote is not anyone's business. Trump has been a Democrat all his life ... and he was not elected in 2016 by "Republicans"!

What is happening and was happening in Afghanistan is not "on Trump"!

That's just lameass bullshit ... like "he" had both houses of Congress on his side the first two years of his term ... I'm not an "Einstein" ... but it doesn't even require a mentally retarded person to recall the reality of those two years .... as opposed to whining about him because of his "tweets" and him not behaving "Presidential" .... like "Bitten"? Bitten is destroying the integrity of this country. Period.

I don't even care for whom you voted.

The first tier of "responsible" are the ones who voted for him.

Look around "the room"!

Wait until the vaccine deaths are accurately reported ... and the Covid deaths are verified ... you will hear the Bittennetts proclaiming it was "Trump's Fault" .... and no long Bitten's project! The worthless votes who put in a demented fool and an absolute KNOWNOTHING are to blame. Now those two GOOFBALLS are really being "Presidential"!!!!

Trump ran on not voting for those wars. Trump drew down the troops significantly and the Afghan KIA dropped significantly too. So what were you expecting the Republicans to do during those years?

Let's be honest here. Many posters and the media are trying to take the stink off Biden and put it on Trump. Not Obama or GWB but Trump. It's not going to work. Bunker Joe ran for President from his bunker and is in his bunker now.

Here's what's even more laughable: Few are addressing the OP. I'm looking at pics from Afghanistan now and I'm not seeing many women. I saw one picture of a group of fleeing burkas which is in adherence to Mulim law. Did we provoke a "Kinder, gentler Taliban?" I doubt it.

The stink doesn't belong on Trump... we should have pulled out of there as soon as we finished the job with OBL. We aren't responsible for policing the world... particularly not when we can't even police ourselves.

Gnad still pressing that KIA lie. In another thread or possibly this one I showed the data on KIAs which was the same as during the last Obama years.

Biden should have evacuated everyone from Afghanistan except the military and Once everyone else was gone the military could withdraw. He made a mistake in moving out the military first or concurrently. That part is squarely on him.

As for the plight of the afghani peoples. This was a reckoning we were only delaying. Those that wanted a better life (democracy freedom choice) are clearly in the minority to those that want a medieval theocracy. And if they could not stand up and fight for it themselves even with all the sacrifice the US military made (lives money weapons training), they are getting what they deserve.

How would Trump remove troops when Obama was CinC?

You know that the homo general Mattis disobeyed a direct order when he didn't provide an extraction plan to Trump 2x?

The traitorous little fcuk. Trump should have cashiered every officer above O-5 because the Obama promotion boards absolutely destroyed the military by promoting this CRT bullshit over competence.

The house of cards is about to collapse on the globohomos.

That was my whole point.. this doesn't belong on Trump-- it belongs on Obama. Pull out plan should have been in place before his administration ended... if not already done.

Agreed Obama could have been one of our best Presidents... he had all the makings, but he was just a front to extend marxism so he's going to go down as the first ethnic and not much else... he failed miserably (if your measure was American success).

If you're an enemy of America, he probably only comes in 2nd behind the Biden regime (which is really Obama 2.0) and ahead of Carter.
