I think it is sweet when someone takes the initiative to show their affection via a pm or message of some sort. In my case, I stay on the down low regarding texting for the discretion of my client so that an unwarranted text message may not get him in hot water if he does not have a separate phone and happens to be eating lunch with his significant other when the text emerges, etc. I guess a majority of my clients beg for privacy and are the ones to take the initiative to contact me when ready to rebook.

I, personally, love receiving messages, but I fully understand limiting correspondence to a small window near scheduling an appointment and then post-session distancing yourself somewhat. for the
protection/privacy for a client.

why do the ratings stop at 5? i think AA and at least one other provider here in San Antonio are 6's...like Spinaltaps sound system..theirs goes to 11...just that much better.

I intentionally only mentioned PMs in my initial post because texts or phone calls are an entirely different matter. I received an unsolicited phone call once (actually several times from a lady I saw ONE TIME.) I was incensed. Luckily, it did not cause me trouble--but it could have. BIG TIME.

If someone has access to your logged on eccie account, then PMs could be a problem. But I would guess you've already got problems if that is the case.

As I said, I like getting them--well, I think I've only received one and I couldn't act on it at the time. But I liked it.

I have gotten a couple PM's following some chat flirting (had not seen them in person) and thought it was a very nice touch. I agree that texts or phone calls are different cause they run the risk of outing a guy.

I like it especially when a lady I have not seen sends me a PM and she's qualified me from my reviews on my preferences for mature ladies and services I prefer. I almost always bite when that happens and am seldom dissappointed.

it is indeed an interesting thread and I like MsPrittiKitti will continue to follow. I think my rationale for following is that I definitely remember 4 or 5 years ago when contacting a hobbiest (by any manner) was so totally verboten and she would be talked about for ages...

I have a hobby phone, a hobby email, and I accept PM's here on ECCIE. So, I don't mind unsolicited contact, whether I've seen the provider or not. Especially if she's letting me know about her specials.

I don'y mind getting PM's. In fact I think having initial contact through the boards can help to ease a little of the first contact stress that comes from meeting someone new, provider or hobbyist. I think getting a PM from a provider is nice, I understand it's a business contact but I always enjoy chatting with a pretty lady
