The FACT is that almost all those being hospitalized and dying today are those that are unvaccinated.

Deaths and infections are much lower than last year because about 70% of eligible people in this country have been vacccinated. However, hospitalizations and deaths due to the virus have increased rather dramatically in the last 2 months due to the more highly contagious delta variant.

I personally have never said people MUST get the vaccination. I certainly would advise people to do so but in the end it is their choice.

I was in Walgreen's on Wednesday getting a shot for shingles. A woman was in there getting her first shot for COVID. I really wanted to ask her why she decided at this point in time to get her first shot, but it was none of my business.

The rate of people opting to get the COVID vaccine has been increasing in recent days/weeks. It is estimated that when the various vaccines get full FDA approval in a very short time that vaccination rate will increase.
