In normal years these gas prices would mean me shopping for a nice new truck, SUV and maybe a Sports car or 2 because many people would sell them off, dealers wouldnt be able to sell gas guzzlers and I would score some great deals. However this time around, the prices are still crazy high. Looks like I’ll be sticking to the current buggies for a bit

I hear the price of oats has risen considerably also, which in your case is an additional cost factor for any hooker buggy dates.....

Didn't read the article from Yahoo? Biden is approving more drilling on public land permits than Trump did.

I think you are misinterpreting the article. Senile Biden is not selling a bunch of new permits. All he is doing is approving those previously sold under previous administrations

"But whereas Biden’s campaign promise applied to selling new leases for drilling and mining, permits are issued for leases already sold, mostly under previous administrations.

Permit reviews on legally maintained leases are required by law,” Tyler Cherry, a press secretary for the DOI, of which BLM is a division, told Yahoo News in an email.
.
.
.
it would presumably be a breach of the lease contract for the Department of Interior to simply say, ‘No, we’re not giving out any more permits,’

Well yea. Its up to the Administration to say "yes" or "no" to approving. You'd think he'd say No to appease the Climate Change people?

believe all the half truths or spin you want . next time your at the pump tell yourself that the price has nothing to do with,

stopping pipelines , halting drilling on government lands, putting a stop to total oil independence as a nation forcing us to buy from other nations, and having oil hating climate crackheads as a major voting block .

No - You are missing what was wrote. It is a two step process. Leases are sold is step 1. Later when the company is ready to drill, they have to get a permit, step 2. Getting the permit is a perfunctory step. Senile Biden doesn't have the option to say no on approving permits for leases sold under previous administrations. It would be a breach of contract.

I guess he could try and say no - but even Senile Biden isn't that dumb as he knows he would be sued in court and lose for breach of contract.

So all he is doing is what is legally required under leases sold previously by previous administrations - fulfilling step 2 of the process.

Pipelines are a very subjective discussion. It really depends on where the pipelines are running to. Those that connect the commodity of natural gas to ports, are NOT helping keep pricing down. In fact they are doing just the opposite. Those that simply go to distribution nationally are. Crude oil pipelines are not just being sold internally in the country but are now national exports along with LNG, LPG, and others. Those that leave the country do so at the pricing of international communities, not domestic communities. Those who think closing down pipelines really should educate themselves on where and what is in that pipeline,vs. the general FOX pro=pipeline narrative. IN fact, domestic commodities shouldn't be solely allowed to be exported; it's like selling the national reserves off to the highest bidder by a land lease owner who really shouldn't own the shit anyway. It's not like they made the commodity in the first place. I always favor domestic independence, and whether it's iron ore, nat gas, or exotic raw materials, this selling off of goods for the benefit of special interest groups and companies is really just a middle-man market and where all the increases of goods happen. Investors might get a portion, but the end result is the end consumers and users get fucked.
