My great grandmother was forced to use a wheelchair for the later half of her life because of polio.



People accepted the polio vaccine because they could see the immediate effects of the disease with their own eyes.


Whereas covid, was for all intents and purposes, a bad case of the flu, until they can't breathe, end up in the hospital ER, then ICU, then with a machine to help them breathe while they won their Herman Cain award.


And yet, there are people who defend all the social media influencers (Trump, MTG, everyone who twats on twitter with a large number of followers is an influencer) for saying that the virus is fake, you don't need to take precautions, don't get a vaccine...

Then the fact that COVID was only dangerous if you’re fat, old or have pre-existing conditions was never understood without any trust. He should have formed a team of medical and business people to put together a task force to logically fight this rather than bragging about his TV ratings while embarrassing himself with his medical ignorance.

the risk is very low for overall healthy people without certain preexisting conditions and under 65 years of age. the stats prove that.
