The best advice that was given to me from another companion was actually more practical than philosophical. When I started posting on ASPD Elisabeth Whispers took the time to let me know that my web site had a lot of spelling, and grammar errors on it. She also offered to talk me through the mistakes over the phone.

Our schedules never worked out, but I eventually did buy some books, and was able to get most of the problems fixed. The small details really do count, and I will always appreciate the fact that this woman was willing to take the time to help out a complete stranger.

One of the best life lessons that I have learned in this last year is that it is good to know when to say goodbye.

I have had to say goodbye to a few gentleman (that I have known for years) this past year because they did not fit into my life comfortably anymore.Although I enjoyed our friendship, I needed to end our business relationship.Possibly, because when I met them I was in a different place.....whatever the reason I no longer looked forward to seeing them, at least in a business sense.I told one particular gentleman that I greatly appreciated our friendship and everything he had done for me, that I would always be there if he wanted to call to talk, but that I must move on......it was a very hard decision for me and took months for me to finally get there, however its one of the best decisions I have made in a long time.

I could not agree with you more. Since entering into this world, I have been absolutely amazed at the number of women who are financially unstable. From high end to low end.I have struggled to find the reason.Possibly bad spending habits, inability to save because its a cash based business......its a whole new thread in itself.

To answer this question, as honest as possible, is hard.
However, I'm a very open person. So, I will tell you, like I was told.
Always be in control. Or things can easily, get out of hand.

For real.

Fun you should mention that, I read Donald Trump's blog every once in a while, and one of my favorite answer to one of the questions posed to him is:

Question:
What is the best thing your father Fred C. Trump ever taught you in your lifetime?

 His Response:
He always told me to “know everything you can about what you’re doing” and that was simple but wise. I’ve followed his advice and it has proved effective.
He also gave me his 4-step formula for success:
 - Get in

- Get it done

- Get it done right

- Get out.

And, this four formula for success is very effective to me in this endeavor.

And according to a thread on the previous big board...at least in this business...that takes an average of 13 minutes.

I think there is a keeping up with the Joneses issue for some gals & the "Joneses" I'm talking about are high end clients. Great dates and generous gifts quickly become a way of life all the time; even when there isn't someone else there to pick up the bill.

Also a lot of girls come from a background where there never was a strong savings/investing ethic.

I don't think companions are more prone to the "keeping with the Joneses" phenomenon just because of their profession. How many civilian people just live from paycheck to paycheck and have a hard time even paying the minimum on their credit card balances?

Agree, keeping up with the Joneses is not unique to this profession.

But a part of this profession, particularly at the high end, is hanging out with some Joneses that live extraordinary lives from a material standpoint. So they start trying to keep up with their client Joneses, not the Joneses in their apt. complex.

This happens anytime you have "middle class"/"regular" folks (for lack of a better term) rubbing elbows with wealth. Look at the entertainment industry or visit SoCal as an example. Not everyone is making bank out there but there are a whole hell of a lot of them spending like it.

Never feel guilty about ending the client/provider relationship. I read the reviews...most guys bounce back pretty fast and easy, LOL.

At the end of the day, it is all about money. I never thought I would say it, but it's true. Yes, some guys are nice and care, but really...they just want to get laid and are more than happy to move on to the next if you don't give them what they want.

Extra emails, texts, and phone calls are a waste of time. People will take the most they can get with little regard to your personal well-being. As providers, we are just one in the pool of many...don't kid yourself into thinking you are special or meaningful in someones life.

Give all that you can in the session and you will be greatly rewarded. And if you are not, then suck it up and move on!

Have an exit strategy!

You can't keep a hard dick down!!
At the end of the day, it is all about money. I never thought I would say it, but it's true. Yes, some guys are nice and care, but really...they just want to get laid and are more than happy to move on to the next if you don't give them what they want.

I'm surprised you ever thought it was more than a trade of sex for money.

Extra emails, texts, and phone calls are a waste of time. People will take the most they can get with little regard to your personal well-being. As providers, we are just one in the pool of many...don't kid yourself into thinking you are special or meaningful in someones life.
Likewise, as clients, guys are just one of many...just a means to an income. Despite some of the threads on this board, don't think the fucking will ever blossom into a relationship.

Give all that you can in the session and you will be greatly rewarded. Don't know if this is really true. And if you are not, then suck it up and move on! In any event, when the hour is up, it's time to leave. Get ready 5-10 minutes in advance. Shouldn't be hard since you shot your wad 13 minutes into the session.

NP--This is the best advice I've gotten from a companion. And I've never seen you, so it was FREE.
