Hence the subpoena. That's how that generally works unless you have the FBI running cover for you.

I recently loaned about $35,000 to a family member. No written terms. No interest rate. I trust the family member to pay back the loan on a date we verbally agreed to. That is what family does for family when possible.

It's also a good way to commit a crime no? Just because you didn't commit a crime doesn't mean that others can't use the same process to commit a crime, would you agree?

And I have been told many times by those approving of government investigations, if they haven't done anything wrong, then they don't have anything to fear, right?

Setting aside the question of legality, does that pass the SpeedRacer smell test?

Are your olfactory nerves fully functional? I've had covid but mine still work!

I'm surprised you didn't cite the SCOTUS decision in McDonnell vs. United States. That was handed down in June 2016. I don't see how you can insist what the Clintons did was unambiguously legal prior to that decision. Btw - McDonnell was a unanimous (8-0) SCOTUS ruling. Care to guess who argued the losing (DOJ) side? It was Jack Smith, the Special Counsel now going after trumpy! Poor guy had his ass handed to him.

Btw - it's been well established that Hunter DID do illegal things while employed by Burisma. A lot of them. Like not paying taxes on his Burisma payola. Or not registering as a foreign agent under FARA.

Did you mean to say the answer is a resounding "YES"?
.

Hunter Biden got the job with Burisma due to Joe Biden's position in the government. That is obvious. Joe Biden did NOTHING to help Hunter get the job. Was not the first time the child of a politician got a job with a company due to the status of the politician. Won't be the last.

Hunter did pay all the taxes due, although late. As to whether or not Hunter had to register as a foreign agent under FARA, that has not been decided. Another, as of yet, false allegation. Nice try but untrue.

There has to be PROOF a crime was committed and as of today there is no proof. In this country, it's still "innocent until proven guilty".

There is only proof that the cult of Trump is starving for retribution and this laptop guy is the only thing they’ve got to cling to.

I will say that not of the same scale of money, but i've borrowed and loaned money to family members without it being written down on a loan document. MANY families don't need a "formal loan application and repayment schedule such as a bank provides".

Would you say that these two checks for an amount less 500k, is really that shocking today when a house cannot be bought in any areas that the Biden's reside for that amount. Fuck- it wouldn't even account for a down payment on some beach front properties etc. Ever look at what a place in Delaware costs; if it's even close to the beach and is on an acre of ground??? Try 3 million or more.

The dollar figures of corruption just don't add up to me; Perhaps an overview of a total, that would summarize the accused amount, along with a detailed outline of the actions of the Biden's would help you with making ppl believe the conspiracy du-jour.

Perhaps the Billion dollars the Saudi's provided to Jarrod would be more in-line with corruption, but I digress, this is about subpoenas, and not adhering to them.

In general, if there was something there, of course we'd like to see it. BUT- even Comer and Jordan have said they don't have a smoking gun. What they do have is a fishing expedition, and while I know all the conservatives are still crying over Trumps loss, and want to get some payback on Joe B. and them Evil Dems, socialist, communists, Libtards etal, they want Hunter to come in and just rat-out Dad. Well that will never happen. Even Trumps dumbass kids didn't do that to Donald in court- (albeit while he is a private citizen and not currently in office), and we know just how brilliant those two fucking stooges-of-sons they are. Fuck- if Daddy wasn't the CEO of the soon-to-be Defunct Trump Organization(s), those two couldn't get a job selling used cars on route 30.

While you may believe there are Enough SAR's, and Comer and Jordan have those- tell me what exactly would you or anyone on the right expect to see if Hunter & Uncle Jimmy showed up for a subpoena? The only thing you would see, is those two morons from the house committee and Grassley or a few others who also want payback for the loss, growling out questions about all sorts of shit- asserting that there was corruption. BUT....

The Bidens would say, we don't know anything about "what your talking bout willis!" It would be a show trial of asking questions without any facts that directly relate to a crime, cause they haven't found that yet.

The fact that our friends on the right are so convinced of there being more there, is another simple proof that the narrative driven by FOX news as the mother who sends marching orders to the rest of the GOP is alive an well. The same company who got their asses sued off, and attorneys who listened to them got their asses sued off, and there are still more ppl to get their asses sued off. I am still looking forward to seeing the reaction of watching Rudy Gulliani and that fucking Moron- John Eastman. Those two on the stand will literally douse themselves with gasoline and spout out nonsense till they incriminate each other and the rest of the shenanigan group.

Subpoenas are no longer a tool that means shit, when your name is the same as the guy whos in office. NO Trump person would ever show up while daddy was in office, so why do you think that any of the current family would?!?

Denile is where the GOP and conservatives live currently.

LOL.... One does not need PROOF of a crime before indicting a person. Only the suspicion or allegation of a crime. The evidence is used to prove or fail to prove a crime. See the prosecutions of President Trump for understanding of how this works.

Regardless, Biden won't be the nominee and if you think he will be, you keep enjoying that smoke.

Great! No reason Jimmy Biden can't explain all that to the House Committee, right?

Only problem I see is people might wonder how Joey can claim he didn't personally benefit, if the Biden clan is so loose & informal with its money.

I mean, anytime Joey needs a "loan" his family isn't going to say no, right? Joey will just remind them he's THE BIG GUY who enabled everyone to rake it all in!

Good point, sapper! Didja see how Hunter - once the IRS started getting pesky about his non-payment of taxes - wanted his attorney to characterize his undeclared Burisma compensation as a "loan"?

Come to think of it, I'm going to start asking everyone who writes me a check to put "loan repayment" in the memo line!

Lol... Your two statements above are mutually contradictory. Try again. Do you want me to look up all the times Hunter accompanied his Daddy on taxpayer-funded Air Force Two trips to China and Ukraine?

Everybody does it so that makes it ok! Is that your argument? You still haven't answered my question - does it pass the SpeedRacer smell test?

Look, I would be the first person to defend Hunter if he had even a smidgen of knowledge & experience in the energy industry, had made a name for himself independent of his father, attended and participated in regular Burisma board meetings, could explain how he added value and helped the company improve its growth & earnings, stamped out corrupt practices instead of adding to them, etc.

You and I both know he can't do any of that. Americans are supposed to stand for honest pay and honest work. Hunter Biden sends the opposite message to everyone - Americans are dishonest and lazy as fuck, and we can all be bought !

No, he didn't pay ALL taxes he owed. He didn't even pay SOME of them. An unidentified "third party" paid $2.6 million in October 2021 in an attempt to settle his 2016-19 debts. Hunter told US District Judge Maryellen Norieka the money was a loan, but he is “not currently” making payments.

wow.

How many years has Joey held a public office?

*IF* he is so dirty, how come he doesn't hold a candle to the number of times he has been in court compared to the Big Cheato?

....what? Zero times? Even when donny held the reins of power and played all the chess pieces that mitch chose for him to sit in courts and have their strings pulled for kissing the ring?

Does $31 million sound like a big number? That's the amount Peter Schweizer added up almost 2 years ago... and that was for China only! It didn't include Hunter's corrupt "deals" and shakedowns in Ukraine and Romania, for instance.

Here's the "detailed outline" you seek... ask and ye shall receive!

https://www.eccie.net/showpost.php?p...0&postcount=88

So... what were you muttering about "denile", eye?

Tiny - I recall you were digging into all these Biden scandals a while back and were more familiar than me with all the shady characters involved and the jaw-dropping allegations made.

I haven't brought up the FD-1023 info in this thread - but it certainly begs a lot of questions warranting further investigation by the House Committee. Surely the FBI followed up on those explosive allegations?! If it were to be substantiated that Joey and Hunter were each paid $5 million by the CFO of Burisma - funneled through a maze of shell companies - then no sane person can deny the existence of a "smoking gun".

Question - how can you say Joey had nothing to do with getting Shokin fired? He openly admitted and bragged about it in the video in my post #9!

Once again, you need PROOF to prove a crime has been committed and as of today there is no PROOF, just unproven allegations.
