Expanding government is pretty much equal on both sides. They just choose to expand in different directions. But make no mistake about it, both sides love big government.

2 questions
1 why do they need the debt ceiling eliminated, when they are going to bring down spending and the debit.
2. do the megas realize the provision for investing in China was removed?
This is the real reason president musk was opposed to the original
agreement

They need to bump the debt ceiling so they can continue to spend... and borrow to pay for what they already spent.

They wanted it eliminated on Biden's watch to pretend that only one side has a spending problem when we have a bipartisan spending problem but want to blame the other guy.

No need to blame "me" if we eliminate the potential to default by hitting the debt ceiling and fight over it when we can be done with it and like Lusty believes, not take any blame for our actions if we can goad others into making decisions.

I must've missed it.

I am certain that TRUMP will try to run the economy white hot- and damn the torpedoes till he runs the whole fucking thing into the ground or via default and claim it was on purpose. However- I'm not sure he has any idea on how to make oil companies drill more as oil prices are continuing to plummet, and tell me what he will do about avian flu and egg prices???

Maybe president Musk knows' what to do !!! or will he just buy an egg farm and rebrand it- dropping a few billion into it, while it goes straight into the shit house- sorta like how the value of X. aka Twitter went. Took a viable business, rebranded, gutted it, and now it's worth 1/6th of what he paid. DOGE Indeed

Funny. President Trump was the most effective American President in history the last time he held the office, yet all you under-educated "Sheeple" have to sing the company tune and predict the end of the world again because some 23 year old White House Staffer says so. Brilliant!

Except he didn't. I wonder who did write it. Pretty easy to make up memes masquerading as trumpy's Truth Social posts and hope they go viral. Even tommy was fooled!

More American citizens died under Trump's reign than any other President. Ever.

9-11, Iraq, Afghanistan, Gulf, Korea, Vietnam, World War 1, World War 2, Civil War, 1812, Revolutionary... all of those conflicts pale in comparison to the number of American deaths compared to COVID. And that wasn't even a war. The closest we got to COVID numbers was the Civil War. You know, where we were actively killing our own countrymen? But nah, Trump did more to take the lives of Union men and women than the Confederacy

Most effective in killing the poors, without even using guns? Yea, I agree with you there.

If you're advocating for the mega-wealthy who wish they could get by with cutting your SSI, cutting your hours, cutting your wages, then brother, you've fallen for the propaganda and are on the wrong side of the fight.

... They gotta blame somebody, mate.
They do follow the liberal doctrine that tells 'em to
say "President Musk" and what-not as it's all they have.

Remember? .... Trump was gonna get Creamed by Kamala.
The "abortion issue" was gonna Win the Day for Dems....

For me, that will always be the craziest part of this whole timeline we're living through: MAGAts falling all over themselves to vote against their own best interests. And they're somehow convinced that these obscenely wealthy fuckwads give a shit about them or this country. Talk about delusional.

All they've done by electing Musk is allow the rich to get richer, the poor to get poorer and their own social security to be plundered. But hey, at least they're allowed to be hateful bigots again. And that's all it's ever been about.

You're wrong, onawb. There have been more US COVID deaths under Biden than under Trump.

And this is despite the fact that when Biden took office he had the benefit of effective vaccines to contain the pandemic, thanks to Trump's highly successful Operation Warp Speed.

Why don't you look this stuff up before you post?

The number of COVID-19 deaths was 455,563 at the end of Trump’s term. By comparison, the number of deaths that occurred during Biden’s term was 746,619 as of the week of 7 September 2024, the latest week available in the dataset.

Figure 1 – Cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. over time. The graph begins in January 2020, when the first deaths attributed to COVID-19 were registered, and ends in September 2024, which is the latest piece of data available at the time of writing. The red and blue sections indicate the period of Trump and Biden presidencies, respectively. The gray lines indicate the point in time when the number of COVID-19 deaths that occurred during Biden’s term matched the number of COVID-19 deaths that occurred during Trump’s term. Source: CDC.

Truth means nothing to them.

You gotta guy calling Trump every name in the book and in the next post, he's telling us we can be bigots again.

When it was never our side that were the bigots to begin with, KKK, Southern Dems, when Martin Luther King came to Pittsburgh in the 60s, the Young Republicans at Pitt invited him.

Likely, while someones grandparents were calling him a ..... and assassinating him with an AR15.
