Well, at least the incoming presidential mascot is pointing fingers, blaming victims and trolling people who just lost everything in the worst fires in L.A. county history. Because that's what truly makes 'Merica great: petty, small-minded fucktards in positions of power. Thank goodness for that.

Nobody is "blaming the victims" for what happened. The thousands of Angelenos who lost their homes are, tragically, the victims of decades of cumulative Democrat malfeasance, incompetence, corruption, mis-governance and misguided priorities.
Trump is just assigning the blame where it belongs... the truth hurts!
Democrats need to acknowledge their policy blunders if we are to change course and avoid disasters on this scale in the future.

The fire is tragic for all involved, residents and responders.
Bottom line under Dem leadership, CA was atrociously unprepared. Dems own that part and no amount of deflection and crying can change that. Dems have allocated resources to other non-fire fighting areas.
Los Angeles has had a Democrat Mayor for 23 years.
Been a Democrat majority in the CA state assembly for 24 years.
Been a Democrat Governor in CA for 13 years.
And a Democrat President for the past 4 years.

Bullshit. This isn't because of "policy blunders". It's because of climate change, full stop.
Less than an inch of rain has fallen in Los Angeles since last April. That's not a policy blunder. 98mph Santa Ana winds is not a policy blunder. Unusually high pressure in the north mixing with unusually low pressure from the south, creating a perfect storm for wildfires to spread over L.A. is not a policy blunder.
And why the fuck is trump trolling the governor, and other local officials, right now, DURING THE FUCKING CRISIS?? He's a fucking asshole who needs to take a long walk off a short pier. That piece of shit has never worked, or suffered, a day in his life, and it shows. Fuck him and everything he represents.
I just hope some trump properties are among those burnt to the ground.

In case y'all forgot how petty trump was about helping California with federal funding to fight wildfires when he was in the position to do so:
https://www.rollingstone.com/politic...nia-1235124062
https://www.commondreams.org/newswir...ire-management
Talk about a "leadership void". He was actively working to harm Americans in their time of extreme distress. Because he's a broken-inside, vindictive, narcissistic asshole.
The truth hurts!

Stop. Such a predictable response.
CA was not prepared. Fire fighters budget was cut and reallocated to other things. Water sources diverted. Other measures to minimize an outbreak not taken. Water management poor. Fire hydrant management poor. Hiring practices based on DEI vs merit. Fire equipment given to Ukraine.
Dems own this disaster response which is a pathetic portfolio of policy blunders.
God bless the people of CA.

These guys blame “climate change” if they catch a pube in their zipper. Couldn’t possibly be that they’re woefully unprepared because the only qualification for a leadership position is being a carpet muncher.

If climate change was increasing the likelihood of a major fire in CA, why in the world would the Dems there not increase budget and preparedness to mitigate a disaster like this?
Dems did the exact opposite of what they should have. They actually cut budgets and mismanaged about every other aspect to mitigate what was coming. This is 3rd world management.
I guess you truly do get what you vote for.

... So, Trump was "being petty" years ago when He warned Newsom
that he needs more water access in those areas and also needs
to clear-away all the brush and excess vegetation??
Newsom was laughing at Trump and claiming things were NOT necessary.
And now LOOK at the Result! ...

Yes. Even when making valid points during a lucid moment.

Speaking of CA let’s look at the results of what having an all Democrat government can do for you! Remember, CA is the model the left wants to spread to the US. You seriously want these results?
- CA has the highest poverty rate at 13.2% of any state despite being the 4th largest economy in the world
- This poverty, despite the state having an annual budget of ~$297 billion- the most significant state budget in the US
- That poverty, despite the highest spending on public welfare programs in the US (< $100 billion annually)
- All of its failures, despite a progressive income tax system of up to 13.3% and a state sales tax rate of 7.25%- both the highest rates in the nation
- Despite all those taxes, CA ranks 48th for road conditions, with 44% of roads rated in poor condition
- Despite all those taxes, CA education ranks below average in national assessments for math and reading proficiency
- Despite all those taxes, California's violent crime rate has risen by ~16% since 2019, while most of the nation has seen rates declining
- Despite all that money, upgrades to state grid infrastructure have been slow to scale and have not hit stated annual targets

Thank you for helping to get this thread back on track, as I am surely the one going off topic.

Global warming forced LA mayor Bass to recommend ANOTHER budget cut before the fires. My gosh, the suffering she has had to endure in her amazing fire preparedness abilities.
“LA Mayor Karen Bass called for $49M in additional cuts to the fire department just *one week* before the LA fires which would have shut down 16 fire stations.”
And here with global warming increasing risk some say it would have been prudent to double down on fire preparedness.
