The above was my first inkling Colombia was going to capitulate, saw it earlier today.
Made the leap a formal surrender would arrive.
It's a pattern emerging on pols who deny Trump, Talk shit, get pissed on, talk shit a second time, and the giant Shit of Trumpaclese is looming above your head.

Yeah... he was sending it to Honduras to get them 6 hours ago. Was still refusing military planes and told his foreign ministers to implement 25% tariffs on U.S. goods after that.
You really didn't pay attention go what happened after the Fox article 
Petro played Trump's game. Defied him. Accepted very little and made Trump look like a child.
Apparently that makes MAGA's happy. Softman is soft and easily provoked. They don't fear the stick

They were already going back, GM. Colombia has had agreements on accepting deportees for years. Petro gave up effectively nothing, makes Trump look dumb and everyone got to see Trump's hand and that he's too much of a pussy to play that hand with Sheinbaum.

Petro never said he wasn't going to accept the deportees, Salty. In fact, he called out Trump's playbook fairly presciently.

Then why make a fuss over HOW they're being delivered to Bogota?
Since we're talking about criminals, it's better for Colombia if they all go back on one (military) plane rather than scatter-shot (civilian) flights. That way Petro knows exactly who is being returned. Don't criminals need to be screened?
If Petro wants to make his Presidential plane available 24/7 for this purpose, I'm all in favor! U.S. taxpayers save money.
