Right about the Tariff's, lunch is about to go up when the price of food goes up and we where told the price of food was to go down but that has not happened! .

We ran the spring roundup a couple weeks early as we're sending a few hundred cattle to market.

I have a close relative who is a newly hired federal worker, last year.
This person tried several times to apply for the federal position of their job, because they were not a veteran, veterans kept getting preference points, so this person was not selected for interview, several times until a job description twist pushed some veterans out of the qualifications.
Despite getting the federal job, this person still only earns just over $ 2,400/month. This federal job still pays better than any previous employment this person held, in the public sector. In other words, many 'real' jobs do not pay very well. This relative I am referring to, is no dummy and they have a stellar resume/experience.

Personally, I think the U.S. job market has not produced income growth that is needed, since Covid. I also think it was a huge financial disaster to cut taxes for the 1%. History teaches us that those at the top, will never voluntarily do anything to help their 'help', have a better life.

If providers earnestly look at the hobby as a small business, yes the first thought by anyone pragmatic, is to look at possibly lowering rates, especially if you understand your customer base and their spending. But many providers are not business minded people, many just have the looks, location and ability to command insanely high rates. But this is not common.

It makes sense to lower rates a bit, in order to get more customers in the door. There are some providers on social media, who discuss this as helpful information for other providers. The biggest problem, I see, is that lower rates and more hobbyists visiting, automatically triggers attention because LE ( especially here in Texas ) will flag it and investigate. They do that because it is a priority. Vice is the easiest area of LE to use in order to increase funding and assure reelection chances. Voters, and the public in general, love to see people arrested for engaging in the hobby. The public loves to engage in sex shaming, unfortunately. Vice stings tend to result in high arrest numbers, so that makes Vice related arrests a great way to engage the public for support and votes.

If the hobby were at the very least, truly decriminalized, and at most, somehow made legal for independent adults to engage in, I would imagine two things would occur, first, the tax base would increase, and second, communication boards such as this one would also flourish, because the first thing you are going to do, is look for honest reviews and opinions.
Also, I'm pretty sure that hobbyists visits would increase, and that provider rates would plummet to more affordable levels.

DEI, 'wokeness', LGBTQ and other liberal minded identities always benefit and help those of us, providers and hobbyists. That is because we are a liberal fringe group, no matter what your political beliefs are.

The very real aspect of RATES is a gatekeeper. Tariffs for the riffraff. You could go to $350 from $300 and keep 80% of your problem clientele from contacting you.
I see this with the sugaring sites. You get relatively low volume girls who only (advertise) there so there is already some type of selection process on who they entertain as potential clients (if a guy is willing to buy a subscription, then capable of allowances, you're on the right track to a client that isn't going to give you problems). Also with this....I've encountered many married women with families going this route for income


The real challenge I see is RATE implies VALUE. A $300 living fleshlight has no value at $800/hr. I see less and less girls offering an experience to justify $300 let alone $800. So, if times are tough and you need to make ends meet, then how can you entice customers to shell out such high rates? You're going to get people DESPERATE enough to shell it out even if you don't deliver. I feel that is a recipe for disaster or burnout, at least.

Its not enough to get a client, its the repeat business you need to make this a workable vocation. Can you get a few guys you meet to make your monthly nut or are you going to rely on sheer volume of boom/bust with transient clientele?


Regarding the "Job Market" and unemployment. These numbers are severely cooked and have been for a while. It is near impossible to get a legitimate professional job the past few years. Many organizations publish job listings but have zero intention of hiring anyone (there is too much to cover on this in a reply here). This artificially inflates the "jobs created" number everyone touts

I haven't seen much of a change. It is definitely slower for providers and I also have received a few texts messages asking if I want to get together.

I asked my favorites and they all say it's slower, but they are doing fine.

It will have to get way worse before rates come down.

This is the most intelligent, thorough discussion of the "hobby" on both a local and national level I have read, anywhere! (My news feeds on my phone are Reuters, AP, Forbes, and the BBC.)


I've hobbied extensively in countries that have decriminalized the "hobby". Top end providers still get comparable top end prices. The difference is they also deliver a top end experience. I've met full - time ladies that very much treat it as a small business, right down to a business and marketing plan, estimated taxes, and long term care.


I've also met corporate VPs, MDs, etc... that don't need the income, they just enjoy having (in general) wild NSA sex with strangers.


I agree that how we treat the hobby in this country is merely an extension of how we treat every marginalized population in this country. In many ways, we're still a nation of slavery - just traded the chains with much harder to overcome credit scores, real estate redlining, crushing student debt, etc.
