In the 1990s, I worked as an imaging technologist at a major VA teaching hospital. One day, I was covering te reception desk for our receptionist when this vet came to the window. He wanted a copy of a test he had in our department a week or so earlier.

The procedure for him to get the report was complicated, involved him going to several other places in the hospital and returning a day or so later to pick it up. His face showed how unhappy he was to hear all this and I didn't blamr him.

HOWEVER: I had known this man for years as a fellow member of a camera collector's club. Additionally, I had actually done the test on him myself the previous week. I told him to go have a cup of coffee and come back in 30 min, saying "I'll see whatI can do . . ."

I pulled his jacket, copied the relent report and put it into a folder. He came back and we had a pleasant exchange of family news, shook hands and he went off.

That is the type of thing that DOGE is trying to accomplish on a national scale . . .cutting to the heart of the matter and getting it done.

You are aware that “51 cost cutting experts” claim that DOGE is greatly exaggerating the amount of waste that can be cut from Federal Agencies.

Schtuff sure is being piled higher and deeper (PhD). How can we ever keep up and stay informed and cut through all the lies, misinformation and propaganda, while greatly improving the quality of life for most Americans?!?

As I see it, there is probably only two ways to do it:

1) Fund and open mental institutions across the country. Actually, we probably only need to do so in about 14 states and D.C. You know, the "Mental" States of America(MSA). Then declare a roundup of the TDS and/or MDS inflicted, because - Let's be honest; there is no cure.

2) Provide transparency and publish the data so Americans see the actual perpetrators of lies, misinformation and propaganda. Fortunately for us, this is already live, but the name might need adjusting: TDS/MDS Alerts System

As one might reasonably expect, both are sorely needed.
Glad we have the 2nd one already working.

Later on, it occurred to me that one could compare the men grouped together in that interview with other movers and shakers from our Nation's past.

I am thinking of men such as Morgan, Aster, Mellon, Carnagie, Rockefeller and other moguls of the Golden Age . . all backing a visionary, Nicholas Tesla (over Edison). Now, that never happened but that is what saw in that interview.

I invite anyone to pick another mix of great men, many would fit in there, but I have made my point.

The guy is smart.
But he definitely is lacking in other areas of interacting with people.

I've known some incredibly genius people but they so severly could not apply their brain matter in solving some really basic stuff.

And it seems the economy of this country is one of them.
Or maybe, he is lining his pockets with as much insider info as he finds.
