Compromise? who would be the two parties that are compromising?

This is part of the good' ol project 2025 playbook. You know, - the one Trump never heard of before, but is taking the instructions off it step by step.

FROM NPR in 2023-
A coalition of conservative groups is preparing for a chance to shape the country's next set of census results in case a Republican president returns to the White House in 2025.

Their playbook includes reviving a failed push for a citizenship question and other Trump-era moves that threaten the accuracy of the 2030 national head count.

The plan also calls for aligning the mission of the government agency in charge of the next tally of the country's residents with "conservative principles." Many census watchers, including a former top Trump administration official, tell NPR they find this position particularly alarming.

The Heritage Foundation, a Washington, D.C.-based think tank — are part of a broader "Project 2025" plan for dismantling aspects of the U.S. government. "For too long, conservative presidents' agendas have been stymied by liberal bureaucrats who put their own agenda over that of the President, whom they serve," Paul Dans, a former Trump appointee who is Project 2025's director, claims in a statement.

For a guy who never heard of Project 2025- this guy sure does know all the people who work there and are distorting the facts, and the remedy to their plan of domestic domination. Stephen Moore who is the guy who presented the 1.5 million over claimed jobs per Biden- Minus any confirmable facts or sources.- yet Trumpy showed them off (minus a big black marker) as being "we knew the BLS office was lying". Sir this is how distorted and wrong the numbers are-Stephen Moore.

Yet the BLS is the one who provides stats for wallstreet, banks and CBO and all the other sources that predict financial markets and such. Futher erosion of trust in agencies when the alternative offered, was based on "unposted data, that isn't easily collected, verified or trustworthy", but is now being produced for the POTUS to show as his numbers vs. the real numbers.

where did we hear this before?

Oh yeah- on Trumps tax returns, and his mortgage applications, and his determination of net worth, or the size of his dick, Arnold Palmers dick, and the size of Michelle Obama's supposed dick. Total bullshit from team Redhats.

How the hell would that be fair? Spoiler alert: it wouldn't be.

Rural counties with a population of 1500 country bumpkins should never have the power that urban counties with populations of hundreds of thousands do. That would be tyranny by minority, and that is explicitly unAmerican.

Not that I'm surprised. MAGA loves that we live in a police state now, too.

And no, 80% of the country didn't vote for trump. Never. Ever. People vote, acreage doesn't.

Tommy, these RedHats think that only landowners should vote. Women shouldn't, nor should anyone who wasnt a natural born citizen. Further they wanto unwind that part of citizenship too. Project 2025 and Christian Nationalist want to strip away rights from everybody except white males who own land, and can prove worthiness of voting. Almost rolling it back to the 1780s for the reason of voter delegates and elitism. This perspective often stemmed from a distrust of the "masses" or the less educated, with the argument that they might lack the information or judgment necessary for making sound political decisions.

... You lads wanna hijack a thread - hijack a different one.

... It surely would seem that President Trump and His Administration
do fancy me great idea of a RE-DO of the Census. ...

The President is gonna ask the Department of Commerce to get
the process started. ...

They absolutely fancy a re-do. That pesky constitution may get in the way.

What's your plan to address the issue of whole people and the 14th Amendment?

As I said in earlier posts, this guy swore a oath to a document he is either ignorant of or doesn't care about.
He refuses to believe that the constitution is not what Trump says it is.
Just like the separation of church and state and these Christian nationalists, declaring this a christian nation.
They lie. cheat and steal to win at all costs!
While the Dems are sending out strongly worded letters.
And it is becoming abundantly clear to these idiots that if they lose the midterms and they will.
If for no other reason than for the fucking over of trumps own voters and how much they lost because of him.
Trump will immediately be impeached and thier people will start to be indicted and go to jail.
Ever notice how many people go to jail after a republican administration?
The dems always have a couple, but nothing like the numbers that the republicans have.
Especially over the masked kidnappings!
That's gonna look like the Nuremberg trials.
JD Vance will sit around for the rest of his term with his thumb up his ass, and his dick in the sofa.
Get this through your head dude, the constitution is the law of the land and cannot just be usurped on a presidential whim.

I missed the part of the constitution that involves recounting a census. It ~requires~ a decennial census, but doesn’t disallow being checked for accuracy or even redone completely between those times. When the government admits that it’s inaccurate, which they have, the responsible thing to do is correct or redo it. Why would you want a census that isn’t accurate? What are you afraid of?

Will we get a more accurate count under the Trump administration?

He’s already indicated he doesn’t want to count every person. And he’s already accused someone of “rigging” the numbers at the BLS and then firing them because he didn’t like the results regardless of their accuracy.

I think I would rather live with an inaccurate count for the next five years than use our tax money to come up with numbers that people are going to argue over because they don’t trust the process under Trump.

Waiting until the next administration is, in my opinion, a smarter use of our resources.

So your problem is you don’t like Trump, not constitutionality. It was the Biden administration that fucked it up. Your ire should be directed there, not to the people left having to correct their mistakes.

... And you're certainly entitled to yer-own opinion, mate.
As am I.

... I would like to see a fair and accurate Census count
that doesn't include the illegals - who should be going out.

But you're assuming there actually were mistakes made - based on the rantings of a serial liar.

Why the hell would anyone trust anything trump says at this point? He's a convicted fraud and a proven liar. There's a 99.9% chance he's lying here, too.

Classic trumpism - start with a big lie, then build a case assuming the lie is the truth, while berating others who call out the lie. It's his whole brand, and it's all bullshit.

The sycophant posts again!
30,573 false or misleading claims during his first administration!
21 lies a day!
Documented!
Probably already surpassed that in this regime.
You just love when Trump pisses in your ear don't you?

From the last few posts you can see that it’s not just me that doesn’t trust Trump and his administration to come up with legal accurate information about the census.

Why pay for a new census when we are just going to have to redo it in five years anyway?

How much difference will it really make if you leave out illegal immigrants from the count?

I’m basing it on the GAO audit which was released before Trump (47) took office and conducted during the Biden administration. Try’n keep up.

Odd to look at it that way when the census released under Biden was labeled as inaccurate by his own administration. One guy fucks it up, admits they fucked it up, but you’re worried about the guy who points it out and wants to correct it. Bizarro World.
