Ok-- so one could say "Hey, I'm heading to Dallas and planning on being in the Galleria area" and be fine. But-- if one says "I'm going to be in the Galleria area from April 2-7"-- and they include a number or an email- that crosses into an ad. Particularly with the adding of days and times.
Ad guidelines are in several places in the forums. Plus-- if rules are fully violated, warnings are issued first-- points if the violations continue.
I can't say I fully understand what difference is made between Bio pages and posts in the open forum aside from the fact that you MUST be age verified to post a bio page. But-- I don't run the board, I just help clean up the puddles from time to time.
