To the guy who only got ONE bbbj and caught something..dayum, that's just bad luck dude. I have been at this 3 years and never even got a mild std much less a big one!

I guess my post wasn't clear. I didn't get a STD, I developed a urinary tract infection, but because of my activities 10 days earlier I had to rule out a STD.

OHHHHHH gotcha! Well I doubt a bj would cause a uti babe, unless she was sucking on something lethal bwahahaha. Then again, something as simple as gum or mints can cause those down there depending on how sensitive the person is.

Not so rare, unfortunately. Luckily drinking a lot of water helps for the mild to moderate cases, or cipro prescription for worse. Guys are less susceptible to having the bacteria hang out for long, because the urethra is way longer than it is in women.

Luckily most stuff you can get from BBBJ is pretty benign. Yes, there is a such thing as a "mild std", compared to the serious ones.

Apparently you forgot to include the link to your research because JUST a bbbj won't cause it. It will be something in addition to the saliva as in bad bacteria! We have been using saliva for oral sex since the beginning of time...the body makes it for such reasons among others. Just having oral sex will NOT cause a UTI unless there is some sort of PH issue with you or her, or she was ingesting something that caused you to get an infection.

Certain bacteria in the oral regions can cause this, but that's on the person you're getting it from...NOT on oral sex alone. Maybe she needs a cleaner mouth lol. I do CIM and have never given or caught a thing, so there goes that theory.

Like I said, it was what she had in her mouth before or at the time that caused a UTI! You can't even pinpoint it back to a bbbj...doctors can't either! It's impossible to PROVE that's how you got it. It can be caused by drinking too many soft drinks and a variety of other reasons. You are clearly not in health care.

Again I take the blame that my post was no that clear. I didn't claim that I got a UTI from oral. I developed a UTI about 10 days after being with a provider who insisted on BBBJ instead of covered. Because of this I thought there was a chance it was painful when going to bathroom because of a STD. I researched it and a BBBJ can cause a STD. So I needed to rule out a STD before I want to my doctor who I didn't want to admit this to. So I called a clinic and told them situation and symptons and they told me yes, there was real chance I had a STD from receiving BBBJ. They see it all the time.

So then I was forced to go to the clinic and get tested for STD. Not fun at all. Turns out I didn't have a STD so then I went to my doctor to get treated for a UTI, which it turned out being. I don't claim that it came from anything to do with a BBBJ. The timing was cooincidence. BUT I don't want to worry about it again and will not have anything to do witha BBBJ again especially considering the fact that I can't tell the difference anyway. To each his own.
