I've never had one played on me, but I used to buy a bag of Oreos and remove the cramy center then replace with toothpaste and put them in the refirgerator so the toothpaste would not melt or run. Plus it hides the smell of the toothpaste.
On April 1 before people would show for work I would put them in the breakroom on the table with the doughnuts and coffee. Most people can't resist an Oreo and usually pop them in their mouths and after a few moments of chewing their facial expressions are priceless.

Along the radio station line there is a group on the morning drive called the Dawn Patrol (surfing term) or Dave, Shelley and Chainsaw in San Diego.
They always played the best April Fools jokes and EVERY year people would fall for it even though they were notorious for this year in and year out.
One of the most memorable was when they said the Space Shuttle had to make an emergency landing at Montgomery Field. For a DFW comparison think Meecham or Addison airport. They had an "on site" reporter calling the landing, seeing it come through the clouds, etc. Traffic was backed up for miles around the airport which is in the middle of San Diego. Cars on the side of the road, people looking in the sky.
Priceless!

Here is something to do on co-workers, done this alot. Have taken a container to work full of dry roasted peanuts. Offer the the peanuts to the workers, had one that took hands full of peanuts and was eating them. I said I like them but the skins get stuck inbetween my teeth so I just suck off the chocolate and let the peanuts dry back out.. LOL>.. Once I had a container that had a sticker on the bottom that said chocolate covered peanuts. Should see the look on peoples faces.

In college (a couple years before Columbus showed up in Dominica) a fraternity brother pissed me off, so I went to a gay bar specifically to write his number and description on the bathroom wall.
Cover charge: $2.00
Magic Marker: $1.00
Look on his face after five or six phoine calls: Priceless
