Huh? It was a commercial and the networks in question refused to air it on their network, hence they banned it. The first amendment doesn't force TV networks to air commercials, they refuse to run ads all the time. You just heard about this one.

Some may remember "The Deficit Trials" commercials from the 80's that were similar to this ad and probably what this was based on. Same premise, our spending will destroy us. The only difference then was they did not know which country would own us, now we know it is China.

And yes, the major networks banned this one too.

Exactly, that's why freedom of the press is so important. It disseminates the news to the electorate. In this case, and in the case of Obama, they are protecting the government or government officials. It's a shame it isn't criminal for news organizations to refuse news the way it is for the government to commandeer the news.
