WIth posting alerts I would at the very least give a few days, and contact the person to see what is going on. If you get some bullshit post an alert, or share the information. If its legit, give them a chance to make it up to you or simply just never see them again.

you give the guy(s) a chance to explain themselves.
if you dont hear back from them, you can [but dont have to] let the other KC area woman know that those guy(s) didnt show.
unless you know for a fact why they no showed, just state the facts as you know them!! dont speculate why. that only leads to drama and b.s.
wrt dying or recently deceased relatives, there's an interesting NCNS in the dallas co-ed forum about it. again, we'll never know the truth, but there are lessons in all the screw-ups posted here on eccie.
it's on each of us to learn and then APPLY the lessons we glean from her, lest we post a thread about our similar screw-up.
