Granted, there's a wonderful mix of heritages and some incredible areas that have a distinctive ethnic feel about them but when you can only open your windows twice a year b/c of the 90%+ humidity and need a boat tied to the roof to row away from your flooded homes during hurricane and rainy season why the HELL would you want to live in Humidston?

For the same reason people choose to live in Dallas. If you like a broke dick city move to Dallas, you would fit in. Have you listened to Dallas politicians? DISD is broke. The City of Dallas is broke, even in the money years-broke. There is no gang activity in Dallas? Anywhere you go in Dallas if you go one street over you are in a bad area.
All cities have idiot politicians. If they were not idiots they would be making real money in the private sector. All cities have crime. All cities have bugs, if you live in the Gulf Coast area you have bugs.
The humidity in Houston keeps the women hydrated and young. Houston is easy to get around, just read the signs on the freeways.
