You'd have a liar-in-chief either way. How soon we forget McChrystal's failed attempt to conceal the circumstances of Pat Tillman's death and the independent report that recommended that he and seven other officers be formally reprimanded effectively ending their careers. Bush passed on doing it.

McChrystal has always said that he voted for Obama. It's no coincidence. They're both examples of corrupt people who fail upward.

Can any of you Obama bashers illustrate a few examples of Obama's incompetence? Although I would prefer him over Bush, I'm not an Obama supporter or hater - just not sure why people hate him so much. I wasn't a Bush hater, but I definitely understood the reasons why people hated him.

When the economy sucks and we're in a never ending war, it's easy to blame the current President, but I thought all those problems were started by Bush, and Obama's just here to do his best to clean up that mess.

Anyways, please enlighten me.

I seem to recall having the same sentiments about Bush, except it was along the lines of "soft-headed tit and danger to society."

High level military officials are supposed to know about keeping secrets. They should also realize that reporters are often the lowest of the low. Backstabbing scum who know how to manipulate people. If you don't realize that a reporter is going to take everything you say. twist it for the maximum degree of scandal they can, and stretch the truth or even lie, you shouldn't have access to classified information.

I hate anything and everything associated with politics. The pendulum of power continues to swing back and forth between the two parties each election year because whoever is in power at the time hasn't fixed all the worlds problems and never will. Both Democrats and Republicans are a peace of shit and corrupt and always will be........as long as money, greed, and lobbyiests are around.

Yeah, can't stand Alex Jones. I listen to him almost every Sunday afternoon, but most of the things he says is, in my opinion, BS. However, it's always good to get a different POV. I don't agree with him, but he is entertaining.

I just hope the Blagojevich trial will bring to light all the corruption that Chicago style politics usually brings with it.

I mean, you can TRY and blame everything on Bush, but answer these two questions: which party had majority of congress since 2005? And where do ALL spending bills originate? Bush was just the president, congress writes these insane laws and actually caused this housing crisis in the first place!

Yep.

And speaking of fuckups, how about Obama's budget director, Peter Orszag? He just announced that he's resigning as of next month. This went almost unnoticed amid all the hubbub over the firing of General McChrystal.

Orszag is responsible for pushing the pork-festooned, ineffective, wasteful $862 billion "stimulus bill." Additionally, he claimed that the health care "reform" bill would "bend the cost curve down." It's a little hard to see how it's likely to do that, given that its supporters had to rely on Enron-style accounting to keep the 10-year cost projections below a trillion bucks.

I mean, really. Isn't having something like that on your record a little like having been one of Michael Jackson's doctors?

No doubt Orszag can smell the smoke and decided to get the hell out of the building before everybody else realizes it's on fire.

He knows that we're on course to suffer a horrendous fiscal train wreck if no one starts making some very tough decisions.

I don't have time to list all of his incompetence but how about his response to the Gulf oil spill. 50 plus days before he speaks to the CEO of BP. Refusing to let other nations help in the clean up...

I'm curious about the spin the libs are putting on the Petraeus appointment. Or is it Betray-us. It wasn't long ago that he was call a liar by Hillary Clinton and was basically the scum of the earth. After all he was GW's general. Now the libs are proclaiming this appointment as brillant. What a bunch of fucking hypocrites.

Lets see....$1billion+ to make sure the current crop of lazy assed children aren't fat because the government knows better than a bunch of miserably lazy parents who would rather park their kids in front of a video game than actually be parents.

Almost a trillion to bail dumb ass American business' that were to stupid to realize that what they were doing with home mortgages was just fucking moronic?

Almost a trillion to bail out the American auto industry simply because the unions didn't understand the basic philosophy of a parasite - never kill the host organism? I will never by any US based car except for Ford or Toyota.

Real estate bailout - $8k per household to buy a new house as a stimulus program. See something in my rant above related to home lenders.....lets drive more business by promoting a government funded program to get even more people who are to fucking stupid to understand credit reports and credit ratings to buy homes based on government backing.

Real estate stimulus packages - does anyone realize that the smart people with credit are now waiting and forcing the developers to replace the $8k government program with upgrades/deductions to closing costs/other ways to force private industry to replace the government bailout with $8k from their bottom line? How about a dumb ass president that just does not realize the basic butterfly principal? How much money do you think he's promised BP for their fuck up?

The guy is a complete fucking moron and is so out of touch with the way average people make their living its a wonder he's not callled the new era Michael Jackson.

It doesn't matter who is in office. The claim will always be I'm cleaning up the last administrations' mess. There may be two major parties but whats the difference Dem or Rep president. Our country is run by special interest groups. And the 1% of people who now have more of the wealth than they did when Reagan trickle down economics was being fed to us. The rest of us we just live

As long as we live in a monetary based society, we will be slaves, and never truly solve the problems of this world. And never truly be free...
