What The Heck Happenned to Austin? Ladies traveling listen to your co- workers. lol

Austin has such potential and I adore the town. I used to live there too, back before the flood.

This topic probably would have worked better if it was in the infoshare area but I feel your pain.

I've tried and tried to make things work in Austin. Long term advertising before a trip. Backpage ads, etc.

I was in Austin for personal reasons back in May. I had one appointment. And then, he had to cancel and so I'm glad that I took care of what I needed to do and came home.

This is typical. Of the several times that I've tried to go to Austin, I've made decent money once. And that was about five years ago.

It's not a thriving place for a lot of escorts but I've known a few women who do travel there and do well but not me.

There are TOO many gorgeous (and loose) women there already. I think it would be easy to just get laid in Austin.

Maybe that is some of it. So many women, coeds, etc.

Austin is tough from what Ive experienced but after a slow month things are picking up and I would like to think its because we do have so many excellent providers here. Im finding my niche and striving to provide an enjoyable experience for both me and my companions ♡♡ I would like to thank our local hobbyists for their loyalty to us who make our living here, no disrespect to the traveling ladies but we work hard to get and entertain our dates and it shows in their commitment to us!!! As the heading says ....It just has changed in the hobby area ..and was just commenting that we should listen to our co - workers if 4 people say it's not a good time to visit then hell listen......It probably isn't I am not just a visiting lady hell I lived there twice and came back for a reason........ Still a wonderful beautiful place just right now and for the last month I believe there is a big down fall. I left my ad up on back page just to see how many calls I would get so far the first one was at 4 and I had another call I missed.

I think it comes down to the fee for some of these traveling ladies. A few month ago I saw one provider from Dallas charging $400/hr, why would I spend that when I can see a local lady (Bella18,Rainblow,Caressas) for half the cost and I know the service will be great.

Another thing to consider is the current climate. Politically the town is kind of in turmoil and moral agendas being in the forefront for several months affect the attitude of the hobbyist IMO.

Definitely there were a lot of LE in town last week (to protect the protesters???), and guess what, they do stay in nice hotels, which did a lot of no good to some providers/hobbyists when there is 20 cop cars parked in the parking lot...

As with all things hobby related, the almighty dollar speaks longest and loudest. As a traveling provider, scouting the market you're about to visit will pay serious dividends. Take a look at the Welcome Wagon in the city you're about to visit to see what your competition will be. Regular mongers looking for something "different" will check WW and travelers first, and make their decisions accordingly.

If you're a top tier FS provider, you can set your rate and be assured to get appts no matter where you travel, given enough advanced notice.

If you're a niche provider, as it seems the OP is, you're already limiting the size of your potential client pool by limiting your menu. As such, your rates should be carefully adjusted accordingly while traveling.

Super long winded approach to say something really basic: your rates are too high given the climate here in town and your current menu/overall package that's being offered.

Not saying you can't set your own rate...but the market always wins!

That's pretty much explains it for me (As I pointed out in my first post). I'll tell the OP, if rockin robin (the lady she works/travels with) becomes a full service provider, I want to see her in a heartbeat.

Well....I got here yesterday. I was shorted $100 by a P-411 guy ,and my 90 minute P-411 guy this morning pretty much stood me up. I feel like crying! I also had a blow out coming out here yesterday. My donation is not over and above.

Well, my morning was a misunderstanding. The weather being bad a d phone system troubles. We worked it out. With my son being here, I'm planning on frequent visits. I also think Austin is a awesome place. It's nice to get out of Big Dallas sometimes.

My comment was directed at the OP, not you which I suppose makes you the defensive one. In regards to you? I'm sorry to hear about your woes but shit happens. We've both been around long enough to know it and deal with it.
