That being said, if someone is saying you're an escort and they know you are, then it's the truth. Even if they can't prove it, a slander trial against your former employer will ostensibly turn into a trial about whether you're an escort. You probably don't want that.
You also need to prove they said what they said with the intention of harming you and, if you want to make the suit worthwhile, you need to prove damages.

yes, I figured any trial would end up being about me....I sure don't want or need that! it just makes me so mad!! I feel helpless and I hate that feeling. there is nothing I can do. and some of the jobs I missed out on were really good ones! I just did not think in a million years my boss could tell anyone who called claiming to be an employer, that I had legal problems! I didn't have legal problems...they wanted to create problems for me! I just did my regular job...and very well. rotten adult sons of bitches
