Private social groups eh? Jeez...now I've heard it all. Let me guess, does he make you each call yourself "Heather" or does he bestow upon you other "approved group names"?
Seriously, we aren't teenagers. Anyone that has a private "social group" and is determined to control the actions/interactions of that "group" towards others outside of that group is frankly an idiot. That idiocy is extended to the members of that group for being spineless sheeple who are enabling a mentally deranged insecure control freak to prey upon others.
I would like to also say that if you are a member of this secret social group (whether a provider or hobbyist) stay the fuck away from me because I truly think you're retarded and have no use for your weak minded dazed follower bullshit.
All in all, it's pathetic...
Have a great day!

Perhaps someone from staff can answer this question: is it true that some of these "private social groups", as SD2011 described them, pay for members-only forum space on this site? If so, doesn't that create a conflict of interest if the person paying the bill conducts himself or herself in a manner that wouldn't be tolerated of a rank-and-file member?

But SD, without followers, we would have no leaders.

Bottom line, this whole brouhaha started when one individual felt attacked by another individual (go find the links yourself) and sent that individual ( what they perceived as) a threatening PM which made a reference to another malicious site (ie. EL). The second individual posted an alert thread using an unflattering title in the headline. People have taken sides. I have received e mails from both individuals. I personally feel it could have been handled differently by both parties, but now it's time to move on.

Thought I'd add one fact that contributed to the half-life of this drama.

This is not high school. This is exposing danger to members of the group, people...
If you have ANY honor, keep you f** mouth shut even if you are booted. you may have a vendetta against Shep, but you are endangering everybody in the group.
Discretion is not a four letter word.

Interesting comments, Luke. A couple of questions, though:
1. When Shep started his rampage against Lola (and other providers at other times), weren't the members of the group worried that the fall out could expose the members of the group to danger? Did said members confront Shep about this?
2. When Shep started a new Coed thread ( http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=846623) yesterday restarting all of the drama, weren't the members of the group worried that the fall out could expose the members of the group to danger? Did said members confront Shep about this?
I don't have a vendetta against Shep. If I did, I would have brought this up months ago when this happened. I posted this in response to the lies and manipulations that Shep was posting PUBLICALLY. The one who has a vendetta and is endangering members of his group is Shep. But to your point about the fact that people in that group have a right to privacy, I 100% agree. In my post, I didn't name any hobbyists (other than Shep) or any providers (other than Lola) that were associated with that group AND NEVER WOULD!
But, I find your insinuation that I don't have any honor completely laughable. When Shep was railroading Lola in the group, I contacted several members of the group, hoping that they would come to her aide. None of them did. This was VERY disappointing. Even more sad, was that after Shep disposed of Lola and then started a discrediting campaign against her behind the scenes, none of these guys stood up for her. Even when they knew Shep was spreading lies.
I know most of the guys in that group, and most of them seem like nice guys. Good guys. But I have to wonder, when Shep tries to use his power to harm people in this community, and these so called "good guys" sit back silently, are they really that honorable? Perhaps they should worry less that I'm "breaking the code of silence" and spend more time looking in the mirror.
One more thing, to all of the people (particularly the providers) reading this, and thinking this is just stupid drama, when Shep and his minions come after you, you'll realize that this isn't just stupid drama. When Shep does everything he can to take money out of a providers pocket by slandering her, that's not high school drama, that's a real life loss of income. This is a guy who tries to hurt people. He needed to be exposed, and now has been. Now lets all go back to our lives. Happy hobbying!

I love how you think eagle.
I would add sherry, peppercorns and a little of heavy cream to the sauce mix.
When serving add some more sherry to the steak and light a fire with a match.
Serve it with a Mouton Cadet 1996.
Darn, I just remembered I skipped lunch today!

C'mon Ze...... I posted the recipe in hopes of someone taking the time to actually cook it. Mr. Skywalker's idea would make it even more tasty.
Approximate cook time: 17-23 minutes unless you need to buy the groceries first.
