I'm glad you started a thread on it.

As I stated, it was a surprise to me when I learned that doubles, on the ladies end, were usually a means of introducing a new provider to the hobby.

Not that that is a bad thing. My first doubles had a major change on my life that I am thankful for to this day.

My first doubles in San Antonio was very much like a tag team wrestling event. One girl sat on the edge of the bed, waiting to be tagged into the action. Then the other went to sitting on the edge of the bed. It was very weird.

Since then I have made it my practice to inquire as to what I should expect, and if the participants really enjoy what they are doing. If the girls are going to be playing with each other, I would really hope they are enjoying it and not just pretending. I have been told by a favorite of mine who is bi that there are times when a session is going to be all about me, but she added it would be two girls attacking ME simultaneously, for the duration of the time we have together. I came close to experiencing this with Janele and Cianna. While they did play with each other a bit, they absolutely devoured me as a team.

↑ this is what I've always thought too, but judging by the number of inquiries we've had on the subject obviously it happens more often than one would think.

As for me, that just seems uncomfortable to have a sex partner who you don't interact with. That's half the fun of doubles, and the main reason I'm so lucky about who i would/wouldn't do a doubles session with. I've known Aiyanna forever and a day, we're comfortable with each other AND we're both bi, so all that factors into the fun we have in doubles. At the same time neither of us want the guy to feel left out, so we've been reluctant to just jump into it with each other without a little direction. Now that we know you guys are into that .... lol, all bets are off! -^_~-

This is such a great thread, because it illuminates aspects of our world. By way of full disclosure, I've not played with anyone who has commented so far.

I think we need to adapt the aphorism about real estate (i.e. what counts is 'location, location, location'). In the hobby what counts is 'honesty, honesty , honesty' with respect to what we're looking for & what we're prepared to enjoy.)

Aww, babe, you were fine. Really. (really fine, too *winks*) But it was funny as hell that you kept her within arms reach. "Security kitty"? That's too funny....even funnier than you patting her on the head. But now that you mention it, it makes perfect sense.

Those anxiety issues can be a bitch. So I understand what you mean. I used to have similar issues. In fact,
I actually called a security company one time because I was feeling insecure...they called me a weird-o, so I just dealt with it the best way I knew how....I said screw it and realized that it's these little quirks that makes us each unique and special.

It can be a tough hurdle to overcome but it's not impossible. The best approach might be to start off with a small number of people...say three, for example....ehhh...It's too difficult to describe. It's easier if I just showed you...and you can even bring your security kitty...trust me, it'll be fun!
