Jon, tats are distinguishable. Should someone recognize them in an arena such as this, it *could* place that person in a very uncomfortable position.
All Nova was trying to say was for the OP to consider either, not showing the easily identifiable tats, or to photoshop them out, (for the young woman's own protection).
If the OP's not concerned with this, then no harm/no foul.
If, however, this is a possibility which she hasn't yet considered, then Nova just did the young woman a huge favor by shedding some light on the matter.
So I'm afraid you're mistaken in your belief that Nova was taking a 'shot' at her.
