It sure does. No DK, No Washington. How does their offense function? Lamar is going to play. Everything points to a Ravens win. That’s when the opposite usually happens. But the NFL got what they wanted. A meaningful prime time game. Who knows?

Gainwell should have a big game. Same with Freiermuth. Rodgers definitely feels like he has something left to prove.

Everybody's afraid of Derrick Henry, but the Steelers always seem to have his number. Outside of the playoff debacle last year, Henry has never dominated against the Steelers. Neither has Lamar.

I'm calling it a toss-up. It's going to be a close game, no matter who wins.

Final prediction: Steelers by 2 in a squeaker.

Aaron Rodgers: “You want the ball in your hands with 2:20 left, and you get a touchdown. That's exactly what you want. I was calm all day long with the gravity of the game and knowing what was in store for us. But I was confident that I was going to play a good game and that I could kind of be the magnetic force out there to keep guys confident and calm. That's part of it, being the old guy. Having a lot of gray in your beard, they expect things from you, and it's nice to be able to deliver in moments like that.” #Steelers #NFL

Texan's favored by 3.

I'll just have to put on my old Steelers Jersey.

Just call me Nostradamus

That was an absolutely INSANE game to attend last night! Wow. I thought both teams had it won at least twice. I started walking out when the Ravens scored with 2:20 left in the 4th. Then, Rodgers started working his old man magic. Then the Ravens got into easy FG territory. Then the rookie PK finally blinked.

INSANITY, I tells ya!

I wasn’t going to go due to my frustrations with Tomlin but I went and had a blast.
It was crazy! Great game…with a very lucky ending but shit happens. Only downside is we now have Tomlin for 3 more years. Just don’t see how he is going to draft and develop a rookie QB.

... Tomlin is starting to see the writing on the wall.
He may decide to leave. ... "Retire" from coaching (for a year)...

Bambino and the other mates 'round here surely been sayin'
the SAME thing about Tomlin:

... That Tomlin onley Won the Super Bowl because of Cowher's players.
Blimey! ... They were sayin' THAT 10 years ago.

... And STILL saying it NOW - 10 years Later....

Cowher’s coaching staff too. Tomlin was forced to keep Lebeau. The players and coaches from that era are long gone. Mediocrity has set in for 10yrs. That’s undeniable. The Steelers are in the playoffs because of a missed kick. They almost blew an insurmountable lead in the AFC North. Let’s see what happens in the playoffs. Another one and done? Or do they make a little run? I think Rooney already made a decision to extend Tomlins contract. Does Tomlin want to continue? It’s obviously his choice. Time will tell.

Cowher only won SB XL because of a missed kick, too (Vanderjagt in Indianapolis). Luck plays a role in every great team's success.

Cowher lost 4 straight AFC Championship games at home. He had three straight losing seasons too, from 1998-2000. I don't recall any "Fire Cowher" chants from the crowd during those days.

And the argument that Tomlin only won because of Cowher's players is nonsense. Tomlin drafted both Timmons and Woodley, who were absolutely essential to that SB XLIII defense (only LB duo in the NFL to each have double-digit sacks that year).

Tomlin made it to another Super Bowl with even fewer of Cowher's players. Tomlin made the playoffs with Duck Hodges and Mason Rudolph, FFS.

The homers of Pittsburgh may never cop to Tomlin being a great coach, but it doesn’t matter. He's a sure-fire, first ballot Hall of Famer.

Noll inherited a mess. While Cowher didn’t inherit a franchise QB, he did inherit a couple HOFers and a solid nucleus of pro bowl players. Tomlin did inherit a HOF QB,. And Tomlin built his HOF credentials primarily in his first 9yrs. The last 10 are pretty mediocre. Noll and Cowher knew when to leave. Tomlin hasn’t.

I’m pretty sure we would have had three (or more) years of Tomlin even if the Baltimore kicker hit that FG. The Steelers don’t fire coaches and they truly don’t see Tomlin’s record as a negative. Ownership is happy with going to the playoffs most years and just avoiding disasterously bad seasons.
