Ive had it happen to me two times in the time i have been here, both ladys apologized and offered to make it right, but i value my time more than that, so i just move on. Their loss. And last time it led me to another nice lady that came theough in a pinch.

I guess the point is, o.p. Sorry this happened, but its not abnormal and dont take it personal. Next time just go on and hobby elsewhere. Not saying that the report is of no value, this info is good to get.

Again, my comment was directed at PID's comment--which was a general one. However, even if someone has had a spotty history of NCNS, that missed appointment is over and done. It cost essentially nothing to wait 24 hrs, see if there is a reasonable explanation, and if a guy is not satisfied, he can still write a NCNS post. SO even if PID was clearly commenting about SBB, I would still say the OP was hasty. I was certainly not taking "her side" as you seem to be indicating.

PID is a respectful gentleman.

Probably not--and as long as a healthy fraction are single moms, and as long as small kids & babysitters are the least reliable folks on the earth it will continue to happen. I would suspect a lot of guys have done similarly, though not as often for the same reason. It is wrong in both cases not to call/text at least.

I have never ncns or disappeared once in 10 years Ive been around....Even while almost dying in the ER have managed to send a message for a rain check.....If I can do it..it really cant be that hard but I was raised to respect peoples time... Im sure Im not the only lady who doesn't vanish

I agree once you have my address and directions it is a set appointment. I as well have never NCNS'd or disappeared when an appointment is set and confirmed. A quick text or PM if you are running late or need to reschedule is simple and professional.
