Make it simple when you get ready to post - Anything and everything you post will be read by the authorities at any time they please. As long as you remember that, you are good to go.
As for private browsing, there are many options. Of course, any company based in the US, Canada, any EU country and most of the free world offers no real security due to internet crime treaties. For true security, you are going to have to do research and pay serious dollars - it's up to you to decide if its worth it.
And if your company uses a security client that takes screenshots, just wait until you get home or use a laptop.
ABT.
P.S. The other way to handle it would be to by a cheap laptop (Discountelectronics.com) strictly for the web, get a pre paid internet card (only pay in cash and go to a store far from home that you've never been to before). Well, then it could always be traced back to the satellite coordinates, but you're talking extreme measures.
Catch a theme here? Security is based on the risk you truly face. If someone actually wants to track you down (low probability unless you're the Governor of New York), they will. Otherwise, just be smart and have a good time.

Good advice here regarding personal security & posting from work.
Let me post about a different perspective of security.
Sadly, the greatest threat to security is the legal jurisdiction of the location of a site's server.
Local & National LE define what is illegal.
Most Mutual Assistance Treaties (MLATs) are for national security, narcotics, financial, tax etc crimes. The Global Cybercrime Treaty doesn't cover the Hobby yet either- unless child porn/trafficking is involved.
Assistance may be denied by either country (according to agreement details) for political or security reasons,
or if the criminal offence in question is not equally punishable in both countries.
ie-See pg 3 Article 4, section 4 (a)(i)(ii)(iii) in the EU/MLAgreement (not Treaty yet)
http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/...34:0042:EN:PDF
In such cases typically, Letters of Rogatory via the US Dept of State have to be transferred to local authorities, to secure the desired data.
MLATs do exist between the US, Canada, & the Netherlands under the guidelines above.
There is no MLAT with Germany as yet, although it is being negotiated.
These Treaties also typically take years for the US Senate to ratify, tho the Global Cybercrime Treaty was in 2006.
Relevant to P4P and Adult sites, the EU & Canada (to a lesser extent than EU) do not regard sexwork as a crime.
Presently, privacy laws are stronger in the EU than the US, where a prosecutor can fairly easily get an ISP, such as locally ThePlanet to cough up all the log records of IP addresses.
This is often without the board owners even knowing it.
Such willing cooperation is not likely from an EU server.
BTW look at your US host's AUS too.
The US is pushing hard to changed that, to impose its will, but as yet the EU Parliament resists.
This is why most well-informed adult sites have moved their servers offshore.
Rare-escorts.com (one of the “free” escort ad sites) which used to be on ev1/ThePlanet
and bigdoggie.net moved their servers to Peer1 in Vancouver, BC, Canada about a year ago.
P411, the treasure trove of info, is in Canada as well.

DIY Look them up! More sophisticated software is available to LE to identify pretty precisely who you are.
Theeroticreview.com servers are on telecity in the Netherlands,
ALL the Eros sites are also recently moved to the Netherlands.
Escort-site.com (another “free” escort service ad site) servers are located at LeaseWeb in Amsterdam.
Escortwww.com remains on thePlanet tho.
This means, for now, you can fairly safely post & communicate on these offshore sites.
I run a small adult board in the EU (not in English) and I would never think of hosting or locating in the US for legal safety reasons. Besides it's as cheap/cheaper in the EU with no discernible latency in loading.
Since I travel to the US often still, I never post reviews on US located servers. I will post on this board only from behind a proxy chain.
FYI
This leaves, of course, horndogs on Comcast with its servers in full view somewhere in Richmond-Rosenberg at some poor schmuck's home or office.
And H2 (controlled by the former P Admin & Party Planner) on a server conveniently located in the Forest, Va area.
YMWV doesn't have to worry- it's just a silly twisted fuck board.
Ah well, they are Private Boards! Let us hope the hobby chain is stronger than those ASPD vouch weak links.
After what happened to TBD,& TER when they were in the US, and maybe P events yet to unfold, can anyone say stupid? lol
IMO Any US hobby board, even IF located overseas & particularly if local, should implement the Electronic Frontier Foundation's recommendations for the safety of it's Members.

Most important- No ASPD “Admin Control Freak” forever IP logs! Deuce, did you destroy them?
Store information for the minimum time necessary for operations.
Effectively obfuscate, aggregate and delete unneeded user information.
Maintain written policies addressing data collection and retention.
Enable SSL as much as possible throughout your site to secure users’ information and communications.
As Eccie grows inevitably into a target, just like TER, TBD, & the P you must be flexible about your server location.
Ask your crazy host, does he have an overseas location for his servers?
If so, or if he could get one, he could probably grow from his present 1 to 2% of the Internet. lol
If not move.
Please consider a nice long weekend holiday trip to Amsterdam, Frankfurt, or wherever you want soon. Should be tax deductible too.
And move the servers again if the laws change. Good Luck!
