Hmmm... he joined June 30, is averaging 12 posts a day, and judging by his signature he digs rap... You could be right, COG. Only thing missing is he hasn't reviewed any fat $150 backpage hookers yet. Oh wait, here's another clue - he likes Latinas and started this Houston forum thread with over 14,000 views already:

Btw, didn't we all have a fantabulous party the last time we drove his lib-retarded ass off this board? Even makes me a tad nostalgic!

There are many Democrats who believe the only reason a person wouldn’t cast a vote for Obama is because Obama is “black.” They believe their opposition is scum, racist, bigoted, less than human. Well, if you feel morally superior go on lying to yourself. Maybe that will improve your self-esteem. You kind of made up the part about him being black, to make your case for the subhuman Republicans. His Mom was white and he was raised by white grandparents. Yes, many blacks were oppressed, from the time when slave ownership was legal in America until much more recently. Obama's lineage however has zip, "0", nada to do with that.

Many Republicans, maybe a majority, would have preferred Ben Carson to Donald Trump, if just given a choice between those two.

Man, have you got that ass backwards. Going back to 1870, growth after the 2008/2009 recession has been the slowest with the exception of the Great Depression. Somehow Obama and a Democrat Congress managed to spend $850 billion on stimulus so inefficiently that it had a negligible effect on the economy. Unemployment benefits were structured in a way so that many people waited until their 48 months were nearly up before they started to look for a job, instead of getting one earlier on.

I do have to give them a tiny bit of credit, as the Bush tax cuts were scheduled to expire at the end of 2010. But Obama and the Democrats, who controlled Congress at that time, kept them in effect until the end of 2012 for all taxpayers, and made them permanent for lower and middle income payers. They did this because they know lower tax rates promote economic growth. Too bad they didn’t make the tax cuts permanent for all – maybe the recovery wouldn’t have been as anemic. Ideology and getting political brownie points, by fucking small businesses and the rich, trumps results though.

You got that right, Tiny!

The San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank even estimated at the time (2012) that if we let some of those tax cuts expire (instead of making them permanent for everyone) it would lower annual GDP growth by as much as a FULL PERCENTAGE POINT. Obama and the Democrats did it anyway. Pursuing class warfare and soaking the rich was more important to them than healthier economic growth.

From the SF Fed study:

"Surprisingly, despite all the attention federal spending cuts and sequestration have received, our calculations suggest... the excess fiscal drag on the horizon comes almost entirely from rising taxes. Specifically, we calculate that nine-tenths of that projected 1 percentage point excess fiscal drag comes from tax revenue rising faster than normal as a share of the economy."

http://www.frbsf.org/economic-resear...budget-policy/

Then afterwards, the fucking dimotards turn around and blame the resulting slow economic growth on Republican obstructionism, after their own Fed economists warned them what would happen! How much more dishonest can they be?

Five hundred bills blocked by GOP:

President Barack Obama is railing against congressional Republicans, telling a Hollywood crowd that the midterm elections are crucial because the GOP is willing “to say no to everything.”

“Their willingness to say no to everything — the fact that since 2007, they have filibustered about 500 pieces of legislation that would help the middle class just gives you a sense of how opposed they are to any progress — has actually led to an increase in cynicism and discouragement among the people who were counting on us to fight for them,” Obama said of Republicans.

The hard core Dindu Nuffins won't go for any "shovel ready " jobs either. You never see them looting a hardware store or clothing store for work boots, work gloves or anything related to real work.

What bills did they block, and how is America worse off because of it?

Hey SassyPoo, er, I mean OverGreasy - your link is from May 2014.

Do you want to know what really leads to an increase in CYNICISM AND DISCOURAGEMENT? When people learn that at the time Odumbo was whining, Harry Reid was blocking over 330 bills in the Senate, proving the DEMOCRATS ARE THE PARTY OF NO!

Ain't that rich? You have the whole story backwards, SassyPoo!

https://lynnjenkins.house.gov/press-...aiting-action/

“352 bills. Why won’t Harry Reid act? These are good bills; bills that put the American people back to work, put more money in hardworking Americans pockets, help with education, and skills training."

Thanks LustyLad. This is almost as good as the McGovern piece you came up with, where the Democrat politician and nominee for president expressed his regret for not realizing how important business friendly policies were. As you know, McGovern was the Bernie Sanders of his time.

Figure 1 in the SF Fed paper is interesting. Obama and the Democrats in Congress put the pedal to the metal and spent much more than the historical norm to try to goose the economy. And it didn't work, in my opinion because they didn't spend wisely.

Hilarious. One of the reasons that Obama will go down in the history books as a poor president is because he was utterly incapable of reaching across the aisle to get things done, like Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan did. He's not entirely to blame though. His teammates in Congress, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, are as partisan as any during our country's history.
