"Gerrymandering" - Were we talking about the Senate? Whoops! Did you ever get your GED? A knowledge of political science is required.

"...consider the wishes of the people"? Whoops! Hillary lost the election. Get over it.

It's obvious assup is quite fond of the word "gerrymander". He thinks it means be manly to Gerry.

Do you think seeing Gorsuch being administered the oath of office will be enough to make that old windbag Ruth Bader keel over and die? ..... we can only hope ..... fingers crossed .....

My finger are crossed somebody kills Gorsuch after the next Democrat President is elected but not in the last year of his/her term!

she's pretty healthy for her age. shes 84. she has at least 6 more years.

at some point, she needs to step down.

do we really want justices on the bench who are more than 90 years old?

The oldest person to serve as a Supreme Court Justice was Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr., (1902-1932) who was 90 when he retired from the Court. He died in 1935.

Justice John Paul Stevens also served on the Supreme Court until age 90, although if memory serves he stepped down when he was just a few months younger than Justice Holmes was when he did the same.

Ginsburg is 84 and appears a bit frail to me, although there are reports that she's been working out with a popular D.C. area trainer and is actually in pretty good shape for her age.

However, she had an advanced case of colon cancer some years back and looked like death warmed over after extensive chemo, so who knows?

looks like Stevens followed the standard set by Holmes. one could only hope that Ginsburg would do the same.

if she plays her health card right, she could live to a hundred.

I'd rather see her retire soon and relax for the rest of her life.

The lady is a bit far to the left for my tastes.

Did she stay awake for all of Trumps SOTUA? I don't remember the cameras focusing on the Justice League this year.

Yeah, but if she retires who will tell Kagan and Sotomayor how to vote?
