You might want to check the timeline where Giuliani started his search for evidence BEFORE the Mueller report was released.

Trump is obligated to investigate and prosecute criminal behavior -- even if the culprit is a former vice president. Thomas Jefferson's vice president was brought up on charges and prosecuted.

As Odumbo was issuing executive mandates to curtail drilling in this country he was giving money -- via Quid Pro Joe -- to Hunter Biden and Devon Archer's Burisma to drill an exploit the fossil fuel market with less competition from the U.S. Hunter Biden and Devon Archer profited just fine off the decisions and activities of Odumbo and Quid Pro Joe.

Ukraine is not perpetuation of the Russia nonsense. What Russian nonsense was Trump up to? He told the Russians on national television they should try to dig up Hillary Clinton's emails. And instead of firing James Comey for grandstanding and politicizing the FBI (first favoring Democrats and later Republicans), he made it look like he fired him because he didn't want Comey investigating collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. These things hurt him and the Republican Party. They were stupid. But neither merited a Congressional investigation IMHO.

By the standards of those politicians who investigated Hillary Clinton for Benghazi (aside from trying to figure out what went wrong) and Bill Clinton for lying about a blow job, Ukraine merits hearings. The transcript of the call between Trump and Zelensky is perturbing. So are the text messages between Taylor and Sondland, which appear to show that Zelensky needed to say he was going to investigate Burisma in order to get a face-to-face with Trump, and which also bring up the possibility, denied by Sondland, that investigating the Bidens might have been a quid pro quo for military aid.

What's even more perturbing to me is that the president of the United States turned Rudy Giuliani lose with the help of the State Department, and Giuliani tried to buy off the Ukrainian national oil company and maybe Ukrainian prosecutors. Instead of using cash as a currency, Giuliani was using the power and influence of the American presidency, with all that means for a poor country threatened by its neighbor.

As to Hunter Biden, if you want to argue the deal he had going with Burisma stinks to high heaven I'll agree with you. Your arguments about Joe Biden don't hold water. He shouldn't be investigated any more than Trump should have been investigated over Russia.

The Russia nonsense was bullshit, and the Ukraine nonsense is bullshit. What transpired in Ukraine in 2016 is part of the "RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA!" narrative and cannot be divorced.

There's no quid pro quo in that telephone call, and you're wearing lib-retard blinders to the obvious like a jackass if you can't see that.

Quid Pro Joe said what he said, he extorted Ukraine. And Shokin's sworn statement as to what transpired is a matter of public record.

Odumbo and Quid Pro Joe funneled billions of dollars into Ukraine and Ukraine's energy companies -- including Burisma. A billion dollars worth of those funds was stolen in brazen graft as Burisma profited from that graft and paid Hunter Bidden $50 K per month out of that graft.

FYI, hildebeeest called on the Chinese to release Trump's tax returns, hildebeest collabrated with the Russians for the Steele Dossier and with the Ukrainians to get dirt on Manafort and Schitty collaborated with two Ukrainians to get nudies of Trump.

Anybody else reading that no "high crimes and misdemeanors" are needed to impeach? That's what the Dims believe. To them, it's just a popularity contest. No need for the Constitution they so breathlessly fake to protect.

The Steele Dossier isn't in the same league. It didn't involve co-opting the State Department and possibly a foreign government. Although admittedly you could argue it was used to get law enforcement to investigate Trump.

Look, I don't want to argue with you on this any more. On military matters, I enjoy and respect your words as much as LustyLad's on economics, which is to say more than any pundit I see on television outside of a few experts in their fields. This is my last word on this.

FDR "co-opted" the State Dept by using personal envoys including his wifey, Eleanor.
because he didn't trust career diplomats. so let's dig up that Democratic icon FDR and impeach him!

The Steele Dossier was written by a foreign agent. Chis Steele, a former MI6 operative and based on disinformation by other foreign agents in Russia. is that enough foreign collusion for ya?

Bullshit! Clapper reported on CNN that Odumbo ordered the investigation, and that compromised the DNI, the DOJ, the FBI, the CIA, and an operative in the State Department authorized a VISA for persona non grata Veselnitskaya so she could meet with Trump Jr. And the Steele Dossier involved British and RUSSIAN operatives who had direct tires to the Kremlin.
