Drivers for providers

While I'm not a fan of providers with drivers; I understand there are valid reasons a provider may utilize a driver ... either on an occasional or full-time basis.

Last year I dated two providers who utilized a driver. One was because she had a medical condition that prevented her from obtaining a driver's license. The other was because we were meeting in a major metropolitan area and she didn't know the area well enough to trust her own ability to get where she needed by the time she needed to get there.

I didn't know about the drivers in both cases until our date was over.

Professional escorts will only hire experienced, professional drivers due to the potential issues and the affect on their reputation if things turn ugly caused by the actions or behavior of a troublesome driver. Unless there is an emergency or some sort of trouble, a client shouldn't even know there is a driver unless the provider tells him.

The other thing to remember is we all have different circumstances. Rural/Suburban areas & Urban areas. "Neighborhoods" vs. hotels vs. high rises etc. High security/no security. As someone mentioned, she may not (be able to) drive. Some people really don't give a rip what the neighbors think...some do.

All things to consider on both sides. But if she's good, you never know. Just like a "good" escort won't talk about her S.O. and/or kids. Why ruin the illusion for the guy? Even if the gal has a pimp/driver, why let the client know...it isn't good for business.

BTW, in the original thread in business services, the advertiser was offering a $20 roundtrip. Maybe I am severely out of touch with the labor market, but that is extremely low (particularly with $4 gas). I posted something to that effect in the thread almost as a warning (if it is too good to be true...)

While I realize the intent of the Business Services section isn't to be a discussion area, I think it makes sense to be able to comment to "warn" less experienced providers when an offer of services just doesn[t hang together....

Much of why I began this discussion was just that. It appears to me we have a lot of rookies on both sides of the equation who are putting themselves out there with a lot of risks.

Hopefully this discussion as opened some eyes. In my case, I can't imagine an outcall anyway, that is a risk I am not willing to take.

I have seen guys post an ISO wanting a lady to do an outcall to their hotel, where they list the actual hotel and a time. OK, what does it take for LE to go sit in the lobby and look for possible targets? Or, just as bad, some strange stalker type who hangs out on the board decides to go sit in the lobby and see if he can ID a hobbysit and his playmate for the evening?

This board can serve many functions, but foremost should be keeping our respective butts out of the fire. (Granted, I wouldn't mind warming a few of the female butts that hang out here.)

Uhhhh, I do outcalls only. But I'm not dumb enough to post my hotel & room # on a public board like this. I save that info for a communication between just her and me. LE hangs out on this board, but I doubt if LE has the time to sit around various hotel lobbies waiting for likely escorts to arrive. No, the ID of the hotel is kept completely confidential.

Agreed. But putting out personal info on the board, such as your exact location is downright silly. The closest you should get is "North Dallas" or "Houston near IAH." If it's a smaller town, anything more than "Little Rock" is way too much information.

Agreed. But putting out personal info on the board, such as your exact location is downright silly. The closest you should get is "North Dallas" or "Houston near IAH." If it's a smaller town, anything more than "Little Rock" is way too much information.

Obviously you don't list the hotel name but I don't have a problem with listing a neighborhood or street name (asuming their are half a dozen hotels on the street or interstate exit).

Location is helpful...certain neighborhoods rule her out and certain areas aren't worth it with traffic when there are viable alternatives. More than one lady has been passed over by me because she was too vague ("Metro Atlanta")

On the other extreme there is one well known ad site that actually gives ladies the option of specifying their exact location. The user sees a Google map with a bunch of pins in it. You click on the one you want much like if you searched for Domino's Pizza locations. I only can hope the ladies are smart enough to put in an address near them but not their actual location

Providers with drivers have pimps, providers with assistants have pimps, and providers who don't see men of all races, shapes, and sizes have pimps. Darn, 90 percent of the providers I know including myself must have pimps then lol.

I have a driver for my clients, not for myself because I don't entertain in cheap motels and you can't take a cab to my incalls. Yea, that would not look obvious at all lmao!

I have an assistant because I don't want to deal with bs emails that ask the same questions I have answered a zillion times on my freaking website, and I won't comment on the gents I prefer to see but I will say no one, and I mean NO ONE would tell me what to do if I did have a pimp.

I would never park my vehicle in downtown New Orleans...valet or not lol. That puppy stays in the garage unless I am showing it off. I don't do outcalls anyway, so no need for me to have a driver for myself but I know many women who have boyfriends who do drive them each and every time.

I hired a driver who was a friend long before I ever started escorting to take care of my clients. I see mostly guys who visit so they don't rent a car, and can't take a cab to any of my locations without looking suspicious. They like the fact that they arrive on time, leave on time, and don't have to worry about being mugged or getting lost.

When I tour, I offer incalls only and still don't recommend anyone showing up in a cab then leaving in an hour. I am very careful about impressions.

I drive myself as well, I consider my client's position and comfort. I am completely independent. I also think the driver gives off the pimp feel, a rush to either or both the client/myself, I've heard stories of robberies or bad experiences and I've taken care of myself long enough...I'm pretty tough

Another note, WOW LR! You're an awesome Provider; definitely going the extra mile for your clients, love it!

I drive my own ass around, because I am capable of doing so. However, I've always thought women had drivers for the extra protection element of it. When a pimp is pimping, he has people who help him. He has his phone girl and driver. Pimp just sits back and collects the money off the sweat of the lady. OP, I wouldn't want a driver in my driveway either if I was a hobbyist. I agree, we live in a scamming society and some people are leeches looking to make a quick buck without lifting a finger. Be careful.

On the flip side, I worry about clients getting my plate numbers and findong out where I live and real name. Sometimes, depending on the vibes I get, I will park my car down the street and walk my ass to the mans door.

Thanks Brooke!! I might also add that I will NEVER see a guy at his personal home...EVER! There is never a need to worry about me or anyone else knowing where he lives, because the answer will always be HELL NO!

If a guy is that crazy to entertain in the very bed his wife sleeps in or even let a slew of providers know his exact location, a driver should be the least of his worries. I would not want to be provider number 45 being seen at that same house when it has an actual owner that can be traced rather than a random renter.

That is not discreet at all IMO especially when all it takes is a quick trip to the court house to find out who the house belongs to. No thanks!

You nailed another issue Incognito and trust me...many will do just that to try and blackmail you. No one needs to know the exact vehicle I drive around in, and yes...not hard to get a real name from a plate.

That's when you ladies need to have a car dealer buddy, who could get you a dealer tag to put on your vehicle when you do incalls or even outcalls. This way, if the guy does see what vehicle you drive, the plate will not identify you.
