Ah yes the comment Trump made blaming Pelosi for the events of Jan 6 and if anyone would like to explain that nonsense beyond 'um but Trump said' it would be a fun read.

This is what Trump TWIX'd an hour after being informed what was going down at the Capitol:

“Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution"

No mention of Pelosi.

What followed at the Capitol moments after that message went out was described by those who where there as 'pouring fuel on the fire'

Trump did follow that up with some msg asking folks to remain 'peaceful'
but somehow didn't mention 'get out of the Capitol' and still no mention of Pelosi.

Later on he did offer these prophetic words:

"Remember this day forever!"

No mention of Kermit the Frog or Taylor Swift either so I mean it really could be anybody else we should hold responsible for Jan 6 but nope definitely not Trump he done told us it was an old lady calling the shots in DC that day not the President.

The OP used the word HOAX in reference to Jan 6 and Trump said Pelosi did it so really nobody has their story straight. It's almost as if someone is lying.

What are you talking about? He most certainly filed for bankruptcy multiple times for his casinos. The filings can easily be looked up. I'm not sure I understand what leg you're trying to stand on here, mate.

Fact is Donald Trump will forever be known that the President who got evicted from the White House and offered up his VP to a lynch mob.

He showed us who he was in the weeks following the 2020 election. A man with more than enough intelligence to see the right things to do and way too much ego to get out of his own way.

IF... the 2020 election was stolen Trump would have directed his powerful network of legal eagles and other resources starting on Jan 7 working tirelessly to prove his claims correct.

But his actions these past years are more OJ Simpson (who claimed he would devote his last days to finding the 'real' killer) than a President unduly discharged from office. Listen to his words. Believe his actions...and inactions.

He’ll never be charged Tommy. He offered Pelosi and Bowser 10/20 thousand National Gaurd Troops on J6. They denied the offer. This is fact. 100% true. Why did Pelosi/Bowser decline that amount of security TOMMY? Why? I’m trying to get you to THINK. But I know it’s a fools errand.

It's hilarious that some people still believe a group of mainly unarmed tourists on Jan 6 constituted an insurrection.

Do people even understand what the term means. Can they explain how this ragtag group of mainly unarmed tourists were going to overthrow the most heavily armed country in the world? Or that why no one has been charged with committing an insurrection!

So how can Trump be charged for an insurrection that did not exist?

The real dysfunction within the argument of what word to use in reference to Jan 6 is that somehow all of a sudden its all or nothing as if that makes any sense at all.

There is no question why the mass of right wingers descended on DC in early Jan 2021 Trump invited them promising a WILD TIME.

Then he told them to never give up and head to the Capitol to 'stop the steal' and of course the allegations of fake electors and bully tactics much of which be presented in open court but plenty of smoke to indicate misconduct on at least one or two levels.

But when you keep taking his word for it then that backs folks into a corner. Well Trump said 2020 was stolen. He say he got proof. We haven't seen any but some of those 'look on the floor in this video that must be election fraud' which raised questions but yeah no proof. But he said so.

Then you can't continue to use logic, reason, and facts to argue the case its just 'he aint done nuthin wrong' and thats that. I totally understand wanting to get behind validating an election. Absolutely support all legal sanctions against anyone found tampering or trying to 'rig' the vote. 100 percent. But this blind allegiance off the word of a man who literally has everything to lose politically and a lot to lose personally by admitting his mistakes. That is something special.

So you can argue it wasn't an insurrection. I can entertain the idea that he gets off with a slap on the wrist most President's do when they get caught slippin. But zero accountability? That is absurd.
