Eden, sorry that you had an emergency, and I do understand that our personal lives come first. I also have family and a real life job as well. But with any business arrangement, a 10 second text to cancel is just common decency. We all have had to cancel or reschedule appointments at one time or another. It is how we handle the cancellation that makes all the difference. It looks like you didn't even contact him until AFTER he posted your NCNS in this thread?

Actually, that's what it looked like. The first thing I did was send Dallas a PM, apologizing to her and asking her to extend it to Ash (since I set up all the details with her). Ask her the time or to forward it since you mentioned it. I guess we have different views. Not that it's anyone business but being in the hospital with my mother, that ten seconds you are referring to, seems so easy looking from the outside in. To be completely honest and I really hope I don't offend anyone when I say this ... but the hobby was the last thing on my mind at that moment.
I'm sorry if I'm taking this a bit personal but it is. We are fighting with life, death, and children getting caught in the middle. So, yes you are right when you say I could have handled it differently but morally, I feel like my mind being elsewhere was warranted. I'll keep what you said in mind for the next time hun.
