And that shapes our approach to the hobby and how we feel about missing an op. To think that your views (largely shaped by your circumstances) fit everyone here is erroneous. But I see that time after time.

Exactly. And I think I said pretty much the same thing on the first page of this thread. If I only had one opportunity a month, my view might be a little different. That's the beauty of it. Each hobbyist can go about it their own preferred way. My view was more of an overall life attitude however, not just pertaining to this situation. Life is definitely too short. Be pissed off but get right back on the horse, as it were lol

It is understood some of you guys have very limited time to hobby (or limited supplies of Viagra which ever it maybe) but honestly endless calls and texts to the hooker who stood you up is just like pissing into the wind. It wastes more of your valuable time does it not? And even if you book with another hooker in that time and send the NCNS hooker a text saying you booked hooker number two she won't fucking care. Most of these NCNS whores book em 10 deep and could care a less about the loss of one customer. Now their pimp might throw a bitch slap on her for potential earnings loss but we should care a less about that since she got herself into that situation. Unless if your captain save a whore..

Blad, I'm in complete agreement. I don't blow up the phone... I call/text when I'm on the way. If there is no answer, I try again once I'm in the general area. Then I'll wait between 20~30 minutes and that's it.

I've had a couple of times where the provider was in the shower while I was driving over. For her caution she turned off the phone while in the shower. In those cases, the second call/text works fine.

But no, I don't blow up a phone/beg/snivel/cry, etc.
