I don't recall saying she "should have had a pimp"
He would have done that to any women anywhere at anytime. He is a monster! It was just easier for him to take advantage of/abuse backpage escorts because he thought no one gives a crap about them. Wrong! We care, and women are starting to speak up. Guess he'll have a lot of time in prison thinking about a new modus operandi.
Yes and thankfully he is not going to be in prison for murder because after all, he said that was his intent.
Call it what you will, "security" (layman's term: pimp), BUT any person that makes even $1 dollar off of a person selling their body for sex acts (knowing that 90% of us are victims of past childhood sexual abuse) is absolutely despicable!
You are trying to take a grey area and make it black and white. For example, I have two friends. she is in this endeavor utr and he is her assistant. They both live off of what she makes. He is disabled and cannot work any longer in his chosen field so he answers her e-mails, drives her etc. Does that make him "absolutely despicable"?
Dress that turd up in what every outfit (white business looking man that appears to be an upstanding citizen of society OR an uneducated Ebonics speaking man from the inner city) you wish, but it is still a turd!

I am and have never in any way condoned the actions of a "pimp" but I take issue with those among us that seem to think that if they see a man of color in the same hemisphere as a provider, that person must be her pimp and all drivers are pimps and it especially kills me when I read guys proclaim that they will never see a girl who is "managed" when they already have...LOL
This guy will not get what he deserves in jail on our dime, I'm just glad he didn't actually kill the provider like he stated was his intent. Like you have pointed out Dahlia, this is a very dangerous world y'all live in and unfortunately the economy and population will continue to steer those naive young girls into the industry and yes, I for one would feel better if they had security..
Not all providers are as savvy as you and believe it or not, I'm on your side here.
