in most instances you have a point... but seriously. these are the coen brothers! blood simple, raising arizona, barton fink, the big lebowski!!!, fargo, oh' brother where art thou, no country for old men, the ladykillers (a remake btw), a serious man, the hudsucker proxy, miller's crossing, burn after reading...
you may not like this new true grit, but one can hardly accuse the coen brothers of a lack of imagination.
