Everyone on this board has a neighbor, unless you just live in the boonies. None of us knows who really hobbies, unless you KNOW about each other. I'd almost guarantee that all of us know somebody that hobbies, even though we don't know that we know.

Here's what I would suggest. If you're single, go for it. If you're married, it's not worth the risk.

Every provider's not a pimped out, trouble making drama queen. I used to bring a young lady to my house all the time (I liked being able to stay put after being done instead of having to drive and buzzkill the feeling afterwards). I saw this young lady at my house probably 20 times. Nothing ever came of it.

Then again, I'm single, which means I have a heightened sense of invisibility to society. Maybe someone like me can get away with it.

If she's that hot, do what you gotta do.

Keep this in mind, though it's not set in concrete. If she's so resistant to giving up anything for free (i.e. no dates, no interest in getting to know you at all), then she might be a provider...or stripper, even.

Why? Is that some sense of entitlement, that we can't have neighbors who like a little bit of strange every now and then, OR is there the worry about being outed.

Everyone of us probably knows somebody that has hobbied or provided at some point. Betcha we do.

Shouldn't stress over it, unless you're openly and carelessly doing it...like providing out of your house/apt, with strangers always coming and going, or habitually showing signs of having tons of money without a visible source of income.

Actually, it is because asshats who don't know the boundaries of other people that screw it up for everyone. Of course we have all met someone who hobbies or wants a little "strange" every now and then. Just because you choose to do it your way doesn't mean that everyone does it the same. The underlying tone of this thread is DISCRETION.

I had a similar situation to the OP. She was a spectacular young lady that I was 99% certain was a provider on ECCIE (blurred face pics).

I think OP should go for it. He didn't say a provider lives across the hall. He said that he thinks that she might be a provider. She probably isn't. Best case scenario he asks her out and she of course says no and it gets awkward every single time they see each other for the rest of the time that they both live there. Worst case scenario is he offers to pay her for sex and he gets the fucking taste slapped out of his mouth. Actually, I think I have the best and worst cases flipped.
