I thought Herman was going to cry on the press conference after the game. Thank God I didn't renew my season tickets. I quit after 12 years. The last 4 or 5 years weren't even fun. Watching Foreman last year was the saving grace. I don't understand why Warren wasn't given the ball at least 15 times. The D looks like shit again. 51 points against Maryland at home shows nothing has changed. I had this game as a win so my 7-5 just changed to 6-6 and praying for a bowl game.

I was at the game getting sunburned and it was not pretty. 1:20 into the game and UT is leading 7-0 on the return of an interception. All downhill after that. You are right in that Warren should have been the primary back and given the ball more often. Some terrible play calling in my opinion at crucial times in the game.

Every time UT gave its fans hope by pulling within 3 points (twice) the special teams/defense let them down. First a Maryland player returns the kickoff to the Texas 38 (I believe) and Maryland quickly scores. Then, with Texas down 3, 2nd string QB in the game for Maryland, 3rd and 20 from the Maryland side of the field, and the QB completes about a 50 yard pass and Maryland once again goes into score. Game over.

At least the Aggies lost. Maybe we can hire Sumlin to get us to 6-6.
Pretty much the whole state of Texas sucked Saturday. The only Texans who won were those playing for Oklahoma.

Im not so sure on that. I'm pleasantly happy being alum. I'll wait to pass an indication till Tech plays Arizona state, Houston, and Ok. State.

My thought was that Tech would go 5-7.

Texas fans haven't yet accepted Texas is no longer relevant as a football team and really haven't been since 2009. Seven wins??? San Jose State, ok. At Iowa State maybe. At Baylor probably. Kansas at home? Sure. That's four. And those aren't four gimmees.

I would love to be wrong. I want my Longhorn friends to enjoy their football season and really hope for a better than .500 season and bowl game. It's good for the city. It's good for business. But...I'm not seeing it.

I read in the sports page that it's the 1st road win since 2008 for Maryland over a ranked team. Wow

My son played with Sam at WHS. He is a hell of an athlete and really developed between his soph and jr years. Might be a big ask to step into the Longhorn clusterfuck, but I hope he does well.

While I wasn't happy with the offense, giving up 51 points to an average team at home concerns me more. Out OL and DL suck. We get pushed around by everybody.

But in the end it's just a three month game..it's just covered for 12 months.
