Well said Britttay. Yeah, not cool OP. It just sounds like a lot of personal judgements and projections which often just say more about us than the people we are making them about. And yes, rates don’t really determine lower or higher std risk, habits do, but even then all of us are pretty much at equal risk. I hope you can take the insight that britttany is giving and find some resonance with it. To me, self-respect means that it’s self determined, you know, by the person who possesses it. Discovering what the ways are that YOU feel like you’re respecting yourself, regardless of what it is, and following that. Also independent of outside variables, I.e: if a person does this it means they have self respect, if they do this it means they don’t etc like, not everything means the same for everyone. I have provider friends who find it to not be respecting to themselves to kiss on the mouth, others are happy with everything. I know women who wouldn’t feel self respected if they did porn, but are okay with being an escort. And vice versa. That’s okay too. Self respect can look many ways, some days it may mean whether you decide to work that day or not, it may mean something different depending on the day, etc. Point being really can’t determine someone else’s self respect, you just project your own beliefs. So it’s good to focus on you and reflect on what that means for you in your life.

On an unrelated note, I watched an interaction the other day between two provider friends. One was casually bashing providers who “do bjs for $60 under a bridge” the other provider laughed (who doesn’t charge only $60 for anything mind you) and said “you may find yourself in that position someday where you’re wanting to charge that, or are doing it for a regular, or convenience be, or whatever the reason. Hell I’ve been there, I’ve acrually done them for free!” And it was just the funniest thing. When you really think about it, how many other jobs can you take of this nature that don’t require years of education that pays a whopping $60/hour? Let alone $250-300? Damn, we’ve got it good!

Heres a question for the men. Why do you guys pay 200 to 300 bucks an hour when these women have no other skills, abilities or whatever else? They cant even hold down a job at whataburger.
