He did "it" because he thought, rightly or wrongly, that the Biden family might very well have benefited from the well known, well documented corruption in Ukraine and pocketed US tax dollars as part of that "possible" corruption. He had no way of knowing whether it would benefit his election or not. He called for an investigation not an outcome that he wanted. As a matter of fact, the investigation could have back fired on Trump and caused him more trouble than not.

Had no support from Congress. It was exactly what Putin and Russia wanted.

Putin and Russia wanted the guy who gave Ukraine Javelin missiles to kill Russian soldiers? Doesn't seem all that logical to me

I see a rather large difference. You may not.

I don't see an impeachable difference

Personally I wish Trump had admitted a fuck up and maybe gotten a censure. He choose a different route and forced Congress to act. Again you may disagree.

I do disagree and thank goodness we live in a country where we can disagree and have a system that allows those disagreements a full airing for the American people to decide which they will in Nov. 2020.

Respect for a different opinion, and freedom of speech, is rapidly going the way of the dinosaurs in the DPST party. Their behavior in squelching any different opinion - as illustrated by liberal colleges behaviors - among other examples - makes it clear.
DPST's plan a One-party system - and re-education camps for all they see as having a different opinion.

I agree with You - but fear such tolerance is limited to the next election the DPST's take house, Senate, and Presidency. It will be the end of representative democracy in America - and the imposition of a Socialist totalitarian State.
