Doesn't matter to you. Matters to others. Whether you care or not is of no consequence. My purposes are being served therefore I am enjoying the show.

A new Mr Blue comes in and spends his first term cleaning the shit up.
New Blue then starts to make some progress but has to bail because his second term is up. What's his historical marker? Getting head from an intern. Truly the peak of Evil

New Red joins the ring and starts to change things yet again. Then he is gung-ho on going to war again because TERRORISTS! He spends the better part of his first and second term in war with the sand terrorists going after fake WMDs. Everyone is generally OK with NewRed because there really isn't any evidence hitting the mass public that the war is a lie. We were attacked, the public wants to fight back. Against whom? Fuckall if the public cares, just kill more of those terrorists!
New2Blue then joins and starts to wind down the war. Ok, good. Then he tries to make healthcare affordable. Probably the most progress is being made to put America on the standard of other first world countries. New2Blue wears a TAN SUIT once and the medic is in a frenzy calling him the antichrist and someone who was not born an American citizen*! But.. what other kind of controversy does New2Blue have that we're still talking about now?
Then Trump starts his first term. He doesn't do much to roll back New2Blue's legacy, because he is a fucking moron. He has the media that the Reds watch feeding off of the crack of his ass. He makes a fool of himself, wears diapers, puts huge taxes on importing things from China (which hurt the middle class), then COVID happens and he tries to spread misinformation, his news orgs spread misinformation, tens of thousands of people (mostly the die-hard Reds.. lol die-hard, they sure did die hard!) die from it. Everything he says deflects blame on to other people. The president never ever takes responsibility for what he does, or what the country does. It exacerbates the 'us vs them' fight and everyone suffers. Then when he fairly lost his reelection, it is all blame, denial, claim fraud. There was no fraud.

Without the first recount, if all of the thousands of trumptards didn't happen to die from covid following their messiah, Trump MIGHT had won.
But then after he INSISTED on recount after recount, the difference between votes just got larger and larger, and he even tried to pressure people in GA and AZ to throw out votes, which is... you guessed it, illegal.

So the end result? Republicans all look like the party of thumb sucking morons because the majority of their party (if not themselves personally) have spent the past 7-8 years worshiping an orange oompa loompa that has the reading comprehensions of a middle schooler. The Republican party has been permanently damaged because of him, and the leaders now are only starting to realize this and trying to distance them from mister covefefe and burbers

-----

* Funny how people lost interest in things like Obama's birth certificate or Hillary's emails. It's almost like the die-hard trumpsters have the attention span of a middle schooler. When I was in school, those little gel pens and colored paper clips were all the rage! But sadly everyone that I had gone to school with grew up and doesn't give a fuck about them anymore, because they were pointless.

uh... Chizzy's point was that a fellow who uses

the lads here have known me for 10 years or so
on other sites. ... So there's that.
But let's no piss up this thread.

Again, what's being lost in all the FOX and
Dominion "lies" discussion - is that the
so-called facts where forced into question
just 2 months after the election...

How were all the investigations going to be
completed in THAT short of time?
The governmental officials were in such a hurry to
certify the elections - there was no time for
proper investigations - so we never saw them.

So blaming FOX hosts for believing or not
believing the stolen election claims is silly.
They went with the narrative FOX chose.
Surely didn't matter WHAT the true feelings were.

... Why cry about it now?

Seems like you don't understand what a username is. So I'll explain it to you. NeilArmstrong839125 is a username, not something I've ever claimed to be my real name. Using your "logic" then... you must also be fake because your real name isn't Salty but, that's what you use on here. See how dumb that sounds?

I did present facts... you just don't like them. Fox News NEVER believed the narrative they were pushing from day 1. That's a fact. But it blows up your world view and it's hard for you to let go of your world view. So you continue on with your comfortable programmed right wing talking points.

Again, nobody is blaming Fox hosts for believing or not believing in the stolen election claims. Evidence in the defamation lawsuit PROVES they never believed it and that they knew from day 1 that they were lying to keep their ratings up. Those are FACTS, not FEELINGS.

Right wingers will defend this whole stolen election BS no matter how much evidence there is to the contrary. That is being in a cult. That is being brainwashed. That is not being able to think critically. And this is why nobody takes you seriously. SAD!

Anyone who is going after someone's username really should stop. It's a username, not your real name..

I'm willing to give Fox the benefit of the doubt for everyone but the people in charge, in the beginning. Sure some people who don't appear on air might had believed what they are producing. No harm in that.,

But after years and years of it being pointed out that Fox is sharing misinformation, everyone would have had to hear about it, in some way or another.

The smart ones might start to do their own research, and if they are privileged, quit their job at Fox. Some might not have that luxury and have to continue to work there. That's fine, too.

But the ones who immediately shoot down any conflicting opinion, who points out where the inaccuracies of the reporting, giving them counter points.. The people who shoot down the IDEA of questioning what they have been told are the worst. Those are the sheeple. Those are the loudest people on the internet. Those are the people who joined the cult, don't care they are in a cult, and simply repeat whatever is said to them.

What's the difference between...
- someone from the middle east, who is Islamic, wanting to shoot you because you do not believe in Allah and that his religious leader told them that white Americans are evil?
- Someone from rural America wanting to shoot you because you are a liberal terrorist who wants to take away their runs, and that their political leader told them that the liberals and Democrats are evil?

There isn't one. What you need to look for are the people who accept what they are told and move on, or the people who think about it for themselves and decide if they want to, don't want to, or need to continue to follow in line?

What I'm saying is everyone needs to wake up. And I don't mean 'woke', I mean, 'open your fucking eyes and look at things from a non-subjective point of view, and realize that for the past 6-7 years you have been being lead on by a compulsive liar who just so happened to become President and convince you to worship him'
And the sad thing is, thousands of older americans who were already in the Republican camp, the prime target for Trump's moronic camp, never woke up and died from a disease their leader convinced them is harmless.

https://www.npr.org/2022/05/19/10985...id-death-tolls
https://www.newsweek.com/fact-check-...-trump-1661528

Wake up and step back and take a look. It is utterly ironic.

The evidence is there that more people who supported Trump died from covid. Because they believed the virus was harmless, that vaccines are evil, that masking doesn't matter.

They died because they got lead on and were too ignorant to question what they were being told.

Also I initially wanted to just post this to indicate how stupid the trump supporters are...

... Looks like three or four reporters.

Uh... does CNBC even have reporters anymore?
Or are they really just FBI/DOJ employees??

Our liberal mate Onawbtngr546 has a couple o'
good points concerning FOX there.

... Too right, mate... No doubt o' that.

However, will it be any consequence to the
FOX-New viewers? ... I don't think this
"scandal" is gonna cause their audience
to run back to CNN or MSNBC.

If your doctor assured you that your skin lesion was benign because he thought this would be more welcome than the news that it was melanoma requiring immediate treatment, the doctor would be guilty of malpractice and you wouldn’t thank him.

When Fox News and its competitors lie to viewers, they are endangering not their physical health but their civic health and the good of the nation.

For decades, conservatives longed to get the whole story into the national news, but by demanding agreeable fiction instead of accepting complex fact, they have embarrassed themselves and undermined the case—still relevant—for fair and balanced coverage.

It's not all conservatives, it's the maga crowd. Radical liberal, liberals, the middle of the road political, and normal conservatives all knew tRump lost the election. Only the far-right radical right-wing nutjobs refused to believe the courts and all the other news sources besides lying-ass tRump, lying-ass faux and the other radical right-wing conspiracy news. The radical far-right news only cares about profits and lying to the fools that suck up all the bullshit and vomit it back to however they can. The touch into the hated, prejudices, and fears of the shallow and weak minded.

... And yet --- that doesn't explain the FOX-News audience. Does it?

.... Rather obvious that FOX-News' viewership is 25% liberal.
So the liberals and some Dems are surely watching FOX also.

How do we know this? ... Because in the last two years, FOX has
destroyed the likes of CNN and MSNBC in the cable viewer ratings.
You fellows have seen the numbers - FOX now outdraws BOTH
CNN and MSNBC COMBINED during the evening.

So the past viewership of CNN and MSNBC had to go somewhere.
And WHERE did they go? ... Over to FOX-News! ...
