Being an eccie member doesn't make me more demanding or bullying, but it does allow me to be more selective and find the ladies that do perform at a higher level .

I think the "more demanding" comment is a little bit off. I think guys on ECCIE just expect to get what the reviews about a provider say she is like. As oppose to a BP provider where there may not be any reviews, you kinda go in knowing it could go either way.
Being on ECCIE does not automatically make anyone a good provider or hobbyist. Reviews, references, referrals, do that. I think that's where the original question came from, accountability. Here on ECCIE you can be held accountable for your actions.
If you see a BP girl and are not a member of ECCIE you are SOL if it is a bad session. Same thing with a provider being on BP and seeing a hobbyist off BP if he shorts the provider then the provider is SOL.
However, here on ECCIE if you are a member (provider or hobbyist) you can inform the membership of who did what, hobbyists with reviews or alerts or NC/NS posts and providers with Alerts, posts in the powder room, or NC/NS posts.
By informing others who ever is responsible is held responsible, either by guys seeing the bad review, etc, or by the ladies knowing the hobbyist is an asshole.

The hobbyists who try to do the extortion thing with some of the providers...if they are found to be guilty, they are usually banned from most sites...as is anyone who is found to break site rules. So, being a board member does hold us accountable to a certain standard...whether we like it or not.
Hi Mr. Smith...is it beer-30 yet? (lol)

I understand where WM is coming from. Being a board member is a guarantee of nothing.
However...
Being a board member, for most of us, does make us feel more "accountable". We have a rep on here, with both providers and hobbyists, which we do not care to have sullied. Providers can take that for what it is worth.
My appreciation to those providers who see "Texas men" as a glass half-full, rather than a glass half-empty.

I demand the following...
Absolutely nothing.
I wasn't writing reviews for a while, but I'm back behind the keyboard.
If I have a good experience, I'm going to write about it.
If I have a bad experience, I'm going to write about it.
If I have a dangerous experience I'm sure going to write about it.
This is after all, an information-sharing site.

r, I think you got some pretty good responses to your query. Now, what if I rephrase the question a little differently:
Do providers give better service if they know they are seeing an Eccie member who writes reviews?
The desired end result is the same, better service. Can this be obtained from a more positive approach, rather than negative? I think so. When I make an appointment with a provider I have not seen before, I prefer not to identify myself by my Eccie name unless screening requires it, as I am curious as to whether or not it will make a difference with the session. It seems that when my handle is known and that I have written a few reviews, especially if the provider wants reviews or needs to be verified, the service is outstanding.
For the outstanding, top tier Eccie providers I would have to say reviews don't matter that much as they provide excellent service as a matter of course. This board seems to be a two way street, though maybe one lane is a tad wider, and that both participants tend to take the higher ground, knowing that their actions potentially can be revealed to others. Those are my observations, but what do I know; I'm just a guy...

That is a topic for its own thread.
For this thread let's stick to the topic it already has.

Thanks JJ for writing reviews, and for someone who is new to the hobby; It helps. I know many of you 'seasoned vets' who have had the wonderful company of so many women don't seem to care as much about reviews; but I for one use them as a guideline. I try not to hold anyone to any standards at all other than the fact that If 5 other hobbyists have seen a provider and all said yes, then I'm not going to get a dine and dash. That being said, I do see how reviews could be used poorly to generate a hype or a negative impact on a provider's business.
In regards to the thought of men from Texas being more demanding; I hope we are! But I also hope we're equally as generous. I hope both gorgeous providers and hobbyists in this fine city find themselves in much more invigorating sessions than they do in some of the other regions of the US. If we're going to get a bad rap, at least let it be because we're too feisty and lustful in the bedroom . That being said I do feel that providers should have and USE a private chat room to counteract pathetic behavior such as extortion and keep the hobby fertile and thriving rather than being played down by the taint of bad experiences from hobbyists.

I am pretty flexible but if ( and they have) threatened me w/ a bad review it doesn't affect my service in the least, But it is disheartening and I probably won't be in a hurry to see him again!

I have been thinking about this topic a little more...Are ECCIE hobbyists more demanding on providers? After giving this topic much more thought, I have come to the conclusion that Eccie hobbyists are NOT more demanding on providers.
Being from Vegas where ECCIE is not very popular, I had to use other boards to post on. I can honestly say that ECCIE hobbyists are NOT more demanding on providers than the other hobbyists on the other boards that I had to post on in Vegas. So Okay, an example of a day in Vegas with the SH** heads, from the other boards. So, yeah, I either curl my hair, I make it slightly wavy, or I straighten my hair, either way, be it curly wavy or straight, I look like my photos! So the hobbyists shows up and says, "oh honey, your picture shows that your hair is wavy, you have it straight, call me when your hair is wavy so that you look more like your photo!" OMG, that is way too demanding and it happens like that a few times a week there in Vegas! Hell, my hair is never done so differently that I don't look like my photos! So my thoughts on this topic are that the hobbyist here on ECCIE are NOT more demanding on providers than the hobbyists on other boards..at least none that I have run into!!! I am sure that Eccie has a few demanding hobbyists but in all we have a pretty good group of hobbyist here and we are very lucky to have this group of hobbyists....Solution to the straight vs wavy vs curly issue...I just wear the hair straight and post photos of my straight hair..problem solved!!!

i agree with WM....
I do believe some on here who write more than others have definitely done this. In all of the years I have been here I have shared time w some that have expected everything for nothing. I of course just gracefully deny.If they are unhappy in the end, I have no problem with whatever they write. As, i do just the same. I have noticed that they will email asking first just how far they can go and how much they can get, which gives me the advantage to never booking in the first place. phew. Although, most of my appreciative gents have outweighed these bad apples and keep me happy and more welcoming here. Several beautiful ladies here have taught me a thing or two on how to keep my standards high, just as my clients have of me. So i do my best for the right man. Simple as that. Even if the gent is not paying as much as one of my close friends does, If he is treating me like a queen i will treat him like a king.
Mokoa is definitely right though, unfortunately those few greedy bad apples will tend to give the rest of those here a label, especially when they refer to Eccie as their go to site. That is why us smart girls screen and research. If a gent, (or shall I say a dog) tends to often write poorly about several women, its slim to none that I will see him. And of course, if a gent views my reviews, postings and my showcase and assumes I wont be able to offer him what he really wants, then i expect him to pass and not wing it and then ask me for extra things i dont want to do. I certainly wouldnt expect him to threaten me with slander either.
Just like us ladies who do our homework, the gents should do theirs and not have general expectations, on ANY site.
But this question is also a reason why i keep my dear regular friends close to me. I love my growing relationships with those that are good to me.

I completely agree with this. When I get a request from a client, I read everything they have posted. If they seem to be the type that is never pleased, I am not willing to set myself up for failure. Some people (not all) are never happy.
As far as the original question, as far as being "demanding" in general, I don't think so. I think because I am well reviewed and well known when someone books with me they expect me to offer good service, look like my pictures, and not rob them.
I have come in contact with a few board members that have given the "if you don't do this, I will destroy your career" speech. And not to shock anyone this as normally been in reference to wanting BB. I have held my ground and called their bluff and realized that's all it was.
Reviews in themselves can be used for good or evil depending on the intentions of the original posters. If a review is honest and forthcoming of one's experience (good or bad) then they are for good purpose. However, there are a few assholes out there that use the reviews to harm a girl for their own vindictive purposes and there is honestly no protection for such things. Nikki mentioned if someone is found to use threats to get what they want will be banned. Without actual real proof it happened. Nothing will be done. And generally its done BCD where there is no witnesses. His word against hers or vice versa.
