Trump should send all of the Dems into “Vapors” by saying…….”after my term is up, I’m going to sell it on EBay”

Did the people around Biden ride his coattails? Certainly. However I have real doubts that any corruption of the white house occurred. You can not say the same about the situation here.
Regardless of how I feel about Trump personally, accepting a 400 million dollar airplane and sticking the taxpayer with the cost of refurbishment is in direct contradiction of the US Constitution.
The corruption is blatant and out for all to see. Defending it is a direct assault on the constitution and a violation of your obligations as a citizen of the United States.

Maybe that’s the point. Keeping your mind on “Winning” rather than on his mismanagement and grifting.
He’s selling you an image of a fighting president rather than an actual competent president.

Getting back to the actual thread about the airplane....
Refitting it to military specs will involve stripping it down and rebuilding it.
The two that Boeing has under construction will be finished before that's done.

Boeing has a contract to replace Air Force One. What’s the delay?
https://www.washingtonpost.com/busin...-one-contract/
President Donald Trump’s confirmation Sunday that the United States may accept a presidential aircraft gifted from Qatar marked the latest escalation in his clash with Boeing, which is years behind on its government contract to build the new Air Force One.
Boeing was supposed to deliver a replacement for Air Force One last year, but significant delays have cost the plane maker billions on the project. They have also drawn ire from the president, who told reporters aboard Air Force One in February that he was “not happy with Boeing” and may purchase a plane elsewhere.
USAF, Boeing May Modify Air Force One Requirements to Get Delivery by 2027

Boeing is way behind on their contract. if they had delivered one new plane last year do you think any of this would be happening now? Trump is playing Boeing to make their damn plane faster. how long does it take for a jetliner anyway? even with the extra military hardware.
one presumes Boeing has a frame started and it's a matter of finishing it out so Boeing needs to take this as exactly what it is .... a call to arms by Trump to get the plane finished. Boeing's rep is tarnished recently, they subcontracted out modules (a US based source btw) and this caused several of their recent incidents .. like hatches blowing off in flight.
amusing many of you assume TDS grift when the truth is Boeing dropped the ball.

After all the trouble Boeing has had in the last few years maybe they just want to make sure the plane they deliver doesn’t fall out of the sky.
Either way it’s not a good reason for the President to troll the American people.
But at least you’re argument makes some kind of logical sense.

He can't take Boeing's plane home with him when he's done. He can take Qatar's plane home with him though. Which do you think Trump will choose? Fuck the constitution, fuck ethics and fuck national security! WINNING!

Rebuilt by US taxpayers just in time for when he exits the White House. Thus would not be AF1

President Trumps Plane, the Latest Gaslight By Dems.
For some reason, the Democrats cannot get past the lie that the Plane Qatar is donating is not his. He can’t sell it. He can’t use it after he leaves office.
It will be for his use while he is President.
It will go to the Trump Library after he leaves office. That way visitors will be able to enjoy visiting the plane, which by all accounts will be an awesome display.
The Dems, and their willing Lackeys in the Legacy Media, in their usual fashion, believe that if they spout the lie enough, the American people will be stupid enough to believe it.
They should have learned from the last election that counting on the majority of Voters to be so stupid as to believe their lies is not a good strategy.
Of course, President Trump just might hint that he will keep the plane just to fuck with the Democrats minds. Which he is very good at doing.

Who’s lying Jacky?
TRUMP
He literally could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and you’d say it was the victim’s fault. Or that Trump wasn’t holding the gun in his hand.
