In essence, the current Dim party seems keen on allowing a sub-class to infiltrate under the fence, so to speak, in order to get their menial tasks accomplished for mere Pesos on the dollar, whilst shoveling them $$ under the table from government coffers and slush funds. You know: "Other Peoples Money"
Though, now that I think of it, perhaps the Dims are simply harkening back to their glory years prior to April 12, 1861. Oddly enough, I believe this was a typical sales pitch that was used to import the previous sub-class prior to 1861: It’s about opportunity, the ability to work hard, and wanting a better life for your family. Now step aboard this here boat for a journey of a lifetime.
So maybe your are partially correct, in that over a long enough time line, they haven't changed that much. But most of that timeline was not within my lifetime.
